@Songbird76 you can link everybody for the DAS but only 6 can use it at a time
Oh wow....I didn't know you could link that many. I don't think it's going to be too much of an issue anyway if C's family is only there for a day with us, and I can do fastpasses for my brother's group. We will GET a DAS pass, but I'm not sure it will do much good because he has to go on the ride for us to use it, and he won't go on most of the rides that would have long lines. But we'll get it, just in case.

Yes, so hard to know where to start. DS got really ill after FoP. He doesn't get motion sickness in a car, he didn't have problems with the cruise we went on years ago, and he can do spinning rides without a problem. He thinks he has a problem with simulators and actually has no rides he feels he really needs to do at Uni. He is looking forward to seeing it, just to experience it because it will be different, and he is looking forward to Volcano Bay. Foodwise, there are some restaurants I want to go to and the prices are not crazy like at Disney. So far Margaritaville, Antojitos, Cowfish, possibly Toothsome, Mythos, maybe Hard Rock Cafe, The Today Cafe. The hotel you are staying at has a restaurant with a good menu.
@figmentfan423, is Mythos the only one I will need reservations for? Should I reserve it for Saturday which will be a busier day?
Yeah, we all felt nauseated after Ratatouille in Paris, and DS gets nauseated during IMAX movies, so I'm wondering how we'll do on FoP. It may end up being a one and done for us, as excited as I am to try it. I do get motion sickness, but I have some seaband things and plan to bring dramamine so I can maybe do BTMR and SDMT, and also not get sick on the boats between the resorts and parks. But I don't know if those will help with simulator rides or not.
I looked at all the food places at UNI listed in the books and there's nothing I'm really excited about except for Three Broomsticks and Leaky Cauldron, so the only ADR I'm planning to make is for the Minion breakfast at our resort. The rest we'll play by ear, and probably end up leaving the park for dinners.

First, and for the record, my DWifey has never, ever asked me “Do these pants make my butt look big?” Why would a woman do that in real life...?!?!?! Movie/TV Bravo Sierra, perhaps...?!?!?! DWifey has never asked me that question in 34+ years of us being together, and I’m pretty sure it ain’t comin’ up anytime soon.
But, (and I’ve posted this before) I have always thought, if I was writing a comical movie, the lines would be...
A - “Do these pants make my butt look big?”
B- “No, actually your butt makes your butt look big!”...:hilarious:!!!!!

And, the next one...

A - “My eyes are up here!
B - “I know, but, those are down there...!!!!! :hilarious:
Again, it’s all relative.
DWifey and I just chuckle, as we’re old enough to get it all and not be offended...!!!!!:joyfull::hilarious:

This post and Goofyernmost's made me laugh. The reason is that it's not unusual for one spouse to ask the other, "does this outfit make me look overweight?" To which the spouse being queried always responds (if he or she wants to keep the peace), "no" ... :p (I even recall this same scenario with my own parents, back in the day.! :joyfull: )

I say make your plan for you family, then share the plan with your family saying this is what we are doing if you want to join us great if not that's fine too. It is amazing that you could get that big family dinner planned on the fly here, but really if they don't tell you what they want in advance then they can plan for themselves. In regards to your brother, give him a deadline for cancelling (a day before the last day it can be cancelled without paying fees) and if he doesn't tell you anything by that day...send him a message or call to say you haven't heard if he is going and cancel. There is no way you should pay for him or his family. I do remember that you were really looking forward to spending time with your niece there so maybe if they could just send her (I don't remember how old she would be or if they would be comfortable for her to travel unaccompanied in an airport).

I envy you going back to WDW but I don't envy this headache you have in planning. Good luck and thanks to reading my two cents worth of advice.
Well, I have one ace in the hole. With my dad's estate, all the money was coming into my dad's account at first, which became my account when he passed. So a portion of that money that is still in the account is actually my brother's. So if he doesn't cancel in a timely manner, and that money gets lost, that will just come from his share. So I won't be losing any money on this, even if he decides not to come. If that weren't the case, I wouldn't have offered to make the reservations and pay on my card. He did debt consolidation over a decade ago and was not allowed to have a credit card, and I think he can now, but I'm not sure any credit card company would give him a card. And since you need a card for literally EVERYTHING, he can't make ADRs or anything....I get that, and I'm happy to help out with that, but only because if he ends up being a no-show, I can stil get my money back.

And my niece turns 6 next week, so she's a bit young to travel alone cross-country.

Being we are in a flood plains no full fencing is allowed so dog cables it is. I’ve cringed several times as the Lab running hit the end of her Cable

Yep, saw that on our local news yesterday mornin’ before leavin’ for the office...yoga pants and all...!!!!! :hilarious:
I know there’s the whole “Florida Man” thing, but, is “Florida Woman” now gettin’ into the act...?!!!!! :joyfull::D;):)

I saw a report on the early news this morning about a big alligator in Houston, Texas, that was pulled away (the man had rope to catch it). The alligator was in a residential community, and I guess due to all the rains and some flooding, he managed to swim into that area, which freaked out the residents! :jawdrop: I'd be freaked out, too, if I saw one of those big guys strolling around the neighborhood!

Cranberry and Turkey. PineApple and Ham. Pork Chops and Apple Sauce Lingon and Swedish Meatballs

They are always together in our house.
And I won't touch any of those. Well, to be fair, I hate pineapple anyway...one of the few fruits I WON'T eat. But even if I did, I wouldn't eat it with ham. I don't do cranberry sauce with Thanksgiving dinner....no one in my family will touch it. Apple sauce is only a side dish for me, and I put it in a bowl, not on my plate, so it can't fraternize with anything else.

I don't like cranberries for the same reason I don't like Lingon berries, too tart!

Don't forget to get the DAS at UNI because not every ride has EP. Also you and @MySmallWorldof4 should get some type of waterproof lanyard for UNI because not everything is linked. You'll need to carry tickets, hotel proof for EMH/EP and DAS all seperate:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: and each person has their own

PF Chang and Cheesecake factory are at the Millenia Mall. There's a Whole Food and Walmart on Turkey Lake so you can do breakfast in the room and bring snacks.

For those of you who also look at the Bob Saget thread, this topic will be something you saw me mention over there.
Yet for my exclusively Chit Chat thread friends, I'm not just gonna say I like the weather in May...additionally, I'm composing a little song too!

When all of us are experiencing the seemingly never ending winter, we complain about the snow and the ice.
So now that winter is a distant memory, I just want to say......
(cue the violins & trumpets)
