Service rabbit?

We have a pet Rott next to us @Tuvalu @JenniferS We heard him as we returned to our room a whimper of hope his family was returning but it was us. They are still gone and it is late and silence. We met him when checking in when they took him for a long walk In the 2nd floor walkway. A happy soul. All is well. It appears only small sections of buildings have Pups. We were in a no pet section of Magnolia at POR in September but no pets. We are on an opposite side with 1 pet we have seen and the room next door. Much better than the humans that checked next to us our last night at Swan Dolphin our last night. My perspective anyhow. Sometime pets are less scary and intrusive than humans.

Thanks for the warning. Although I've hear there are special restaurants in Amsterdam with some sort of pot dish, should I skip those as well?!;):)
I can't speak for the fare at Coffee Shops as I've never had any of it, but I'm with @RedNoseMickey on this one. If it has the word "pot" in it in the Netherlands, run fast and run far.

Funny story:
My husband came to visit me the first time, and my mom had been....negative, about me dating. I had broken off my engagement, and my mom had been awful while I was engaged. She told people I wasn't getting married because SHE hadn't given me permission, she had written to my friends begging them to "fix" me and get me to be obedient to her again, she ignored me when possible and treated me poorly when she couldn't ignore me. So she was happy when I called it off. I was living with my brother because my ex had kicked me out of our apartment when I broke up with him and I had nowhere else to go, and my brother's roommate had moved out and he had never bothered to get a new one. So my mom had come to visit and I had just started "dating" DH, and my mom noticed I talked to him on the phone every day and she told me she didn't think it was a good idea for me to be dating until I was at least 30 and had a stable job and my own home and had done all the traveling I wanted to do. I shouldn't date until I was ready to settle down and do nothing else. (perhaps this view of marriage was one of the reasons hers didn't work??)
So he came to visit me that Christmas, and he really wanted to win my mom over and let her know that he respected her, AND me, and that he was a good person, etc. So he decided he would make dinner for her one night....something traditionally Dutch. So he made Hutspot, which is a stampot dish with carrots and onions in the potatoes. My mother knew he was making dinner, but had no idea what Hutspot was, but she had always told me I couldn't turn my nose up at something without trying it, not to be rude when someone has taken the time to make something for you, etc. So he's busy in the kitchen, and my mom comes in just in time to see him dumping the carrots and onions into the mashed potatoes and she shrieks "What the H**L are you doing to those mashed potatoes!?" And she refused to take even one small bite of it. I laughed so hard at the look on her face. She was so shocked! She never did taste it. I don't remember what she ate that night, IF she ate.

Mom does too (not the driftwood; that just looks like something fell from a tree and we forgot to pick it up; but rocks yes). But if someone mentions a rock, we both have to say "But it's a rock!"

We went to this store in Hilton Head that sold all kinds of geodes and such. We were a lot of fun in that store.

I forgot to entertain you last night with my funny antics of cutting my finger pretty badly with a butter knife. It took forever for it to stop bleeding long enough for me to get some liquid bandage on it.

Moral of the story: don't try to pry frozen things apart with a butter knife.

Working at home today... Today is the day that I could be called in to be an alternate juror..... unlikely since there was one alternate before me, but working at home means I'm 5 minutes from the courthouse vs 30, so I thought it would be better to work at home.

Does anyone else hate working at home? It's not my favorite (except rolling out of bed later, and the work in your PJ's part) but I prefer working away from home.
