I like breadsticks, too, but I love delicious, hot garlic bread with Italian entrees.

I think we've established that I eat out more than just about anyone.That was a really smart thought you had. I never would have thought about the possibility of added time at the table if half ordered appetizers while the others ordered desserts. Obviously, you eat out more often than I do!!

PB & J is yummy though.
I bought a shepherd's pie and a shrimp pasta from Costco yesterday. Probably going to throw one or both in the oven shortly. I had a late lunch though. A) It's not sitting well and B) I'm not that hungry yet.

It has been very windy out this evening; a front moving through. Sure hope it rains so I don't have to run the sprinklers tomorrow morning.
It rained a lot in MA this afternoon. I have a 25-minute walk to the bus stop after work, and I got absolutely drenched in a downpour.
Couldn't wait to finally get home and change into dry clothes.

Slade was first. Noddy Holder and Jim Lea of Slade wrote it and released it in 1973. Quite Riot did an inferior cover version in 1983.

That sounds really good. (Personally, I'd leave out the peas because I don't like them, but the rest is perfect comfort food.) Did you also have any brown gravy with it?

Ha! There's just no other band that compares for me. There are other bands I really like, but the number of great songs Slade wrote is incredible. I wish they would get more recognition. I guess it's some consolation that American bands that would later copy their style do recognize the fact that Slade was the first.
