Thank you for the nice wishes for my daughter. We already have the plan for her to take it twice. Probably the 2nd one we will have her go for will be in late Aug.
What does in mean if your DD needs to "write a concert review"? She has a band class that requires her to attend a concert and then write up a review to submit for a grade?

Each semester, she must attend a concert, write a review, and attach a program, or provide a picture, whichever is appropriate. One per year can be "in house". As long as you weren't playing in it.

Right now, in preparation for an invitational, each individual student must submit a recording of the self, playing their part in the piece assigned for that week. After corrections, you must resubmit with the corrections.

I am excited for the invitational, because DS is in the guest college band that will be playing for the noon break. Both kids playing, same day, same school. It hasn't happened very often.

Me too. We are there just two weeks after opening. They are opening in two phases, I wonder if some people will wait until both attractions are open? This might give me a fighting chance for a slinky dog dash fastpass!

honestly, I used to like Star Wars.. but now the ultra cheesyness of the prequels and now even further with the Adam Diver (Kylo) BS.. I'm kinda bailing out as well.

Rogue One was the last decent movie for me.
and Solo was a basic Sunday flick.

Sorta.. if you read more, they are opening it in two phases... so only 1 attraction will be available at opening. Evil strategy, or 2nd attraction is on schedule for later in the fall. You be the judge.

His question was re. upcoming plans for the weekend.
As for me, my plans include taking my daughter for her first crack at the College Board SAT test.
It's at her high school. Doors open to show your photo id at 7:45am.

My oldest is in a local production of Annie. She has a small part as one of the servants. The best part is is that it qualifies as a graduation credit. We are using it for public speaking. Other than that, probably cooking and taking my youngest to cheer practice. Nothing too exciting. Good luck to your daughter!

Missed the announcement but got it in an email. First thing I did was think about you, than I though about me. I wanted to try and squeeze a trip in the week before Labor Day and take advantage of the free dining. Now?.......
