My response --
I don't think anyone would fault you if you bought a new battery--especially with the winter you're having out there. ;) If it was in the summer and you were hesitant about the battery, it would be an inconvenience if the car didn't start. In winter record-breaking cold temps, you might not want to take a chance. Batteries don't last forever. Just my two cents.[/QUOTE]

My car needs an oil change soon so when hubs takes it in he is going to make sure they test the battery.

So hubs and I did end up going out to eat tonight. It was a fund raiser for a local campus Lutheran Youth group. There were a couple of people there when we arrived and by the time we left there was only 1 table open. Despite the horrid weather people still came out, which is good. It didn't feel that cold unless I was walking into the wind, at one point it literally took my breath away. For a couple of seconds I couldn't get a breath. At that time it was -12 felt like -33.

And I don't want to make you all jealous but it is currently-20 with a real feel temperature of -45. Brrr. Many businesses are going to be closed tomorrow. Even the post office isn't delivering mail, I saw a notice that no delivery would be happening in Minnesota, Western Wisconsin, and even parts of Illinois. Crazy! I don't think I'll be stepping outside tomorrow.:cold::cold:

Wow! I never heard of the postal service not delivering because of cold. Poor Kapono has to go out and do doggie business in that weather.

I hadn't heard of it either. But with predicted windchills at -50 to -55 its better to be safe than sorry.

And Kapono has learned her lesson she is doing her doggie business very quick now after that first time!

I also love watermelon, as well as cantaloupe, honey dew, etc.,...!!! :hungry:

I followed up with a co-worker friend this afternoon and now have a YouTube account.
It was pretty easy, and now I can post my own videos...!!!!! :happy:
