Starting today at a frosty -1, with a wind chill of -18. School is in session, although I am guessing as temps fall through the day, schools will close at the end of the day. DS's college is shutting campus at 8 pm tonight, with a delayed start on Thursday.

It's snowing. It is sticking to everything but the road so far. We had nothing at 1:30 when the piano teacher came. When she left at 2:30 our sidewalk and front steps were covered. It should be stopping soon though, so I don't think we will get more than an inch.

Sympathy like. We have 4 or 5 light fluffy inches

No, people can be jerks and not every day can be a great day. It’s easier said than done, but you can’t let them get to you. Things will eventually get better. You just have to hang in there and believe in yourself....

Not really all that unusual even for Florida. I have been there when there was frost at night and one time at band camp on the 100th anniversary and it was colder then a well diggers butt in December. Cold, cold wind. Almost had the place to myself.

Yup, same here. A few years ago, there was a blizzard that delayed my trip home. It was cold down there. I texted my one friend a picture of us in sweaters. This friend, who is basically a real life Snow White personality wise, texts back, "Shut up, Missy."
