Oh, update on the AAA fiasco:

They're covering the whole thing. They found the service provider liable and are covering the entire invoice, including the new battery.

So that fiasco seems to be over...thank goodness

love the explanation in the "hard to hearing" part.
that is exactly what should be always said.
deafness is not an OFF/ON switch.

but disagree by a LOT on the implant hearing recovery.

It was a little different, but I was glad that for the most part it was a simple retelling of the classic. I hate it when they mess with a good thing and try to make it all different and modern.

as far I know, the brothers Grimm was actually a very misogynist skewed version of the original series.
most of the original stories had happy endings.. but the brothers Grimm loved the BAD tragedy type endings.

Not that I know. I read on the internet that what they did was only compile folk tales,children stories and other stuff.. they dramatized and expanded them.. and added their GRIMM twist.


According to Wiki, the first written and published version was by Charles Perrault in 1634.

but then, they claim the earliest known version is of Rhodopis a greek slave who marries a king of egypt. written 7BC.
