You're correct, but, in this case my friend acted like this was the way they always were. My big complaint was the bread. I hate dry, hard bread. If the bread is soft then I can enjoy the sandwich. My opinion based on her reaction was that everyone she had was like that. It's OK, some like bread that way others don't. I'm afraid I am one of the don'ts.

Sorry, playing ketchup...

That’s interesting, because I’m not hard bread person either, and I’ve never had hard bread from Schlotzsky’s. It’s always been soft and tasty. The edges can get a little crisp sometimes, but, it’s never been something that’s not easily manageable. Even leftover, all I’ve ever had to do was nuke it for a little bit and the bread softens right back up.
Sounds to me like they may have been using old bread instead of day-of bread like they’re supposed to...?

In other news, its going to be a pretty bitter Christmas. We were going to be very few this Christmas, but it went worse.
Grandmah had an haemorrhagic stroke and is now paralysed from one side.
Might be her last Christmas so mom, despite being ill of a cold... Planning in going with her for one last Christmas.

I'm still furious at my mom's family side. Where everyone just simply ignores my grandmah. Most are going to their own christmas away from the city they live (where my grandmah is now) and most don't even visit her.. I hope karma hits them big time.
Only some of my cousins and 2 sisters (plus my mom) are the only ones taking care of her or visiting her.

Very sorry to hear this about your grandmother, Cesar.
Hopefully, y’all can make what may be her last Christmas as nice as possible.
Forget the others, and take comfort in knowing that your family and some of your cousins are doing the right thing for her.
Prayers for her and all of y’all, and I hope your mother gets well soon.

Well, dd’s team did not win. The other 2 teams they were up against in their division had no falls. Dd’s team had 2 small falls in small group stunts. But look how awesome my dd’s scale is in the pyramid.

But out of all the 23 teams in Level one from a Tiny team through to senior, they won the best stunt award, which means their stunt were the best and most imaginative. Not bad for these little small town girls with only 9 kids.

I’m not sure if I’ve said this about our school’s winter soccer team, we’re playing up a year this season because we have two boys with an older birth year, you’re allowed to play up in age, but not down. These two kids are good friends with T and a few others, so I wanted to make sure to include them this winter. Some of the kids on my team have never played soccer before, a few others play for the school, and then my son and 2 more also play select.

Our first 3 games went great, we won each of them. .
The past 3, including today, have been rough.

Today, we were losing 6-0 in the first half. Some boys started yelling at each other when one made a mistake, and my son was the worst of all.. I saw him yell at two different teammates on the field, and then their goal keeper.

I pulled him out of the game for the last 8 minutes of the first half, and he remained on the bench for the entire second half. He cried the entire ride home.
T has scored 9 of our 11 goals this season, we were shut out today, our goal differential is probably insurmountable now, and keeping him out probably had a hand in that.
I don’t care.

Right now as I’m typing this, he is writing a paper on what sportsmanship is, why it’s important, and what he feels like when someone yells at him.

I’m so disappointed in him. :(

He’s grounded from electronics, including tv, and he understands why and luckily didn’t try to argue it.
I love sports, I love winning, but I can’t stand to see bad sportsmanship. I will pull my kid out of sports, all sports, if I see him act like that again.
Someone pass the parenting handbook, please!
