Sympathy like.
We're not done either.
Temps are below freezing again.

That being said, I switched from boots to shoes last Wednesday, and from shoes to flip flops on Saturday.
If I absolutely must, I will take one step backward - not two. Not two!

Actually, according to this morning's weather report, we've been downgraded to 1-2 inches Friday night; the higher amounts will go to the southern part of the state into R. I. Oh well . . .

I've never gotten a good picture of the lion so I was pretty excited. The cheetah was walking around a lot too but my pictures of it were blurry but it was nice to see it moving around.

The lion is really hard to photograph, because the animal is usually sleeping and stretched out on the ground. Only once did I get a great view of the animals up on that hill, and even heard them roar!!! :joyfull:

Just clarifying that "all made in Mexico" is incorrect. There is a huge plant in Hershey and another one not far from there in Lancaster. I've been past both. The Hershey plant still makes chocolates and Reese's. I just did a spot check of my Reese's egg wrapper (which is peanut butter goodness) and it does not say Made in Mexico.

The Fan ny May/Harry London chocolate factory is a half-hour from me. For the record, my favorite candy is made in Baltimore, Maryland, in the good ol' U.S. of A. Goetze's caramel creams.

So this must be a regional distribution thing, then. Some candy made in U.S. goes to certain areas; other candy made in Mexico gets shipped to other areas of the country here. I wished I had saved the bags to show you.

I just waited for the mud to dry, and then swept it up.
Yes, cats barf a lot. These ones especially, as they not only groom themselves, they groom each other.

(On the plus side, I heard the heaving the second it started, and was able to steer Max off of the carpet and on to the linoleum.)

(On the double plus side, at least it wasn't 5:30 in the morning and me stepping in it with bare feet. )

Great post to read first thing in the morning. :hungover:

I for one like the discussion. I was unaware of the imported chocolate at all. I knew there were other plants but I thought for the most part it was similar to a half of century practice similar to Coke, where the production was stepped up to serve other countries vs importing into the US. I know we have a small fraction of Mexican Coke in our grocery store of the overall Coke sold.

When I go into Target I'm going to be looking at the bags now. :cyclops:

Mine is Fan nie May, though since they sold and most production was moved due to high labor costs some of the candy is a bit different than what I grew up with, the Pixies are just not the same but still yummy. We had the same thing when Macy's bought Marshall Fields and the Frango chocolate was moved for the most part also out of Chicago.

And the Trinidads, and the Mint Meltaways, and the English Toffees, and the Buttercreams, and the... :hungry:

@StarWarsGirl95 hope you are just busy with school and are feeling well.
I'm well, thanks. It's still spring break, so...just busy, but not with school. Sleeping a ridiculous amount I think because I wasn't sleeping through the night last week. Had a hair appointment Monday, doctor's appointment (check up) yesterday, Tuesday I slept until noon and then watched movies all day, was out with friends this morning, going to the mall with Mom later. We're going to a baby shower Sunday, so we need to go get a gift. Tomorrow...I probably should do some homework.

So... Busy. I've been reading through, just not posting a lot.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
My poor kitty has spring fever.
She's perched precariously on the kitchen window ledge, making plaintive wails, with her tail swishing furiously back and forth.
Because I am a nice pet-mommy, I just opened the front door to let her sit in front of the storm door, offering a more comfortable seat, and a wider view.

Well, I know that the Mexican coke has a large following.
I mean, I see in the forums how much they like the sugar cane taste than the dustroxe one.

perhaps there is a market for the candy that has sugar cane?
