Looking back on the past few months I now have a firmer grasp on just how cloudy it was. Back story, I have had the worst luck with sunglasses and gave up buying good ones many moons ago. Long story short I have 3 pairs that are like new and didn't buy a single pair this year

Blurg. But we judge that by what we know today not what we knew then. It evolves always to any subject of what we didn't know then but now have learned.

We tend to do that with everything that was done in the past that we now know better then to do. Then we feel the our ancestors were conscience of doing anything wrong, because we currently do. A little bit different but I liken it to feeling how stupid they were that they used outhouses and had to go out in 30 below weather to use them. Why didn't the idiots just install a bathroom inside?

So many threads drift off topic. By the way, thread was moved out of N&R, down to politics and social issues area.

The thing is the post was about child abuse and no one ever stated that what happened in that case was acceptable or that the woman shouldn't be put away for life. It only seems fair since there is a good chance that she caused that child to be mentally incarcerated for his life.

Then someone connected a butt smack was the same type of child abuse as what had been stated and that created a firestorm of disagreement and an attempt to define the difference between child abuse and useful discipline. Everyone has a different definition of course and that is the direction it went. It didn't get stupid until someone tried to connect it to being politically to the left. Which had no relevance at all. The politics section is a good resting place for it.

I wanted to post a few pics from Sunday.. we went to Dayton, OH to visit the Air Force Museum.

It was such an awesome place, we need a few more visits to see it all!
