Well, I won't speak too soon, but so far I did what @Cesar R M said and it is running really fast now. I will see as the day progresses with the kids using it for schoolwork. If not, then I will remove the extensions.

Never had any issue like that at my Joann's. Ours is loaded with knowledgeable and helpful ladies. Sorry you had to deal with "winners".

Yah, Figgy had some bad luck at her store. I think that all those Joann's are franchises. Just depends upon how an owner wants to run his/her business, that will determine how good the staff will be at any one of them.

Yah, Figgy had some bad luck at her store. I think that all those Joann's are franchises. Just depends upon how an owner wants to run his/her business, that will determine how good the staff will be at any one of them.

It wasn't my regular one. I only went there because it's a bit bigger and my dh wanted to go to a store near it

Did you try crochet? It's a bit easier and faster, but takes double to yarn.

No, thank you. I just think those types of crafts aren't meant for me. I love to see what people make though. There's a woman at work that crochets pretty blankets, and she gives them to cancer patients in the hospital to brighten up their room a little. She's a really nice person.
