It's okay; I never bother catching up.

Basically, some members were having computer issues, Figgy drinks coffee, Ferret doesn't like coffee, there was a disagreement about the first Pirates movie (general consensus is that it is worthwhile) and there were some Muppet videos thrown in there.

There! You're caught up!
with the exception of the normal members complaining about the weather;)

Like it all started with a mouse.....

Peppermint Mocha was one of my sons initial gateways. My Gran started my love of coffee when I was about 2 years old. She lived in the house next to ours when I was tiny. I'd go to Grans every afternoon and we'd have coffee together, at the time I was her only Granddaughter and we'd share time at the dining room table a few minutes each day in China Cups with saucers and little silver spoons. My coffee was more cream than coffee and from there my love of coffee grew.
Same here except my grandmother lived a few blocks away so it was a few days a week.

I bought some more pot holders that are woven looms kids use to make. They work so well. A Grandma had a table but her Granddaughter that seemed to be be a young adult with Downs had stacks of potholders she had woven at the end of the table. I bought an entire stack. Very reasonable and a great way for a young person with special needs to earn. She made them quite well. And I'm a sloppy cook with my potholders so stacks are needed. The young lady was happy, I was happy. Good Day.
I'm jelly and would have done the same. After the holidays at some point I have to make a new stack

Sounds a little like my childhood, but not with coffee. Tea was what I was introduced to, and I remember it was about 90% milk, with a little tea in a china cup and saucer.

We made many of those when we were kids. My sister actually has one of them that she still uses, after all these years! Yes, they were sturdy and fun to make! :)

Okay, I'm kind of inclined to suspect that it's the Shockwave one, but here's what I would recommend:

1. Remove all of them.
2. Start Firefox, run it for a while, see if the problem persists
3. If the problem is gone, add them back one by one. If the problem shows up again after adding back one of them, then I would remove it again.
Well, I won't speak too soon, but so far I did what @Cesar R M said and it is running really fast now. I will see as the day progresses with the kids using it for schoolwork. If not, then I will remove the extensions.

I had a similar experience with my Grandmother as long as you change coffee to cigarettes. I was a tad on the chubby side as a child too. She felt that if I smoked instead of eating that it would be helpful. She, of course, was wrong, but, she meant well. It is amazing how many problems can be directly linked to ignorance. To her defense, everybody smoked in the 50's. I was never able to connect why my grandmother thought it was OK, but, my parents were so set against it. I really don't believe it was a health issue because there was little to no talk about that part of it. I think that at the time they just thought that was an adult activity like that three letter word starting with S.

Never had any issue like that at my Joann's. Ours is loaded with knowledgeable and helpful ladies. Sorry you had to deal with "winners".
Me either! I LOVE my regular Joann:inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove: and Walmart. at both places the nice people(not all ladies) are helpful and go above and beyond! At both stores they have a general sense of what I buy and let me know if something new comes in.:joyfull: They've also let me know if something is going to be marked down that day and if I said I wanted it marked it down right then and there:joyfull: I've been to the one with the "winners" a few times but have never seen the same people working there that may have had something to do with the problem

I feel like if the ladies and men who work at Joann's were less helpful, maybe it would make the lines move faster :hilarious::hilarious: you go in for one quick thing, and it still takes you a half hour because of checkout!
