The good news is you don't have to start a bail fund for me. I went to a Joann today and just for the record it isn't the one I usually go to and may never set foot again. First it was under staffed. One person at the cutting table and one cashier. There was a nice older guy on the fabric cutting line with his blue Korean War Vet hat on with a slightly younger woman. Long story but they were getting fabric to make things to pass out at the VA for Christmas. They had a full bolt of fleece they wanted cut in half even though they were taking all of it and the person cutting fabric told them if they wanted it cut they would have to take another number for the second piece. Seriously???????????? This weekend of all times to top it off. The manager was in ear shot told the person to just do what they asked. I can't think of a time I ever wanted to punch somebody out so badly, maybe a few but not recently.:angelic: The manager started cutting fabric at that point and 2 more employees came in so after being in line for wayyyy too long everything of mine rang wrong. Usually not a big deal but the cashier told me their registers never make mistakes. No way I was going to pay over 100 so I sent James for the manager who looked at my apps, email and flyer and fixed everything:joyfull: My calculations were correct and my bag came to under $20:joyfull: Rant over and yup not going back to that store! Am I wrong for wanting to call the district manager Tuesday? I took names:angelic:

I think sometimes that stores do themselves in. You referenced a few advertised specials, and maybe the way the special(s) worked, never made it down to the rank and file who were waiting on customers. A Special (or Specials) are no good to anyone, if the employees don't know how to enter them into the system. Just ends up creating bad will all around.

This cashier was a real "winner" I had a hard copy of the flyer and yet she still insisted the flyer was wrong and the computer was right:rolleyes:
