Sympathy like. Hopefully T had fun at least.

He was in goal for 4 of the points.. he looked miserable,as in embarrassed, (not playing miserably), he actually had a few good saves.. they just shot soooo many times!!... I was so thankful when she sent in a replacement. I think he had more fun once on the court, but wasn’t happy after the game. That was a rough one. Hopefully this was the hardest team in the division...maybe?lol

It’s a bit of a different game and a different ball than regular soccer. You could tell the other team has been playing futsal for a while now. It’s a great game.. our boys just need to adjust to the play.

This is Futsal (photo from google, posting just in case someone doesn’t know what I’m talking about)

5 players vs 5 players. (4 on field + goal keeper)

The ball is small and weighted.

Played on a hard surface on a small court.

Different rules than soccer - kick ins vs throw ins.. goal keeper can throw the ball only, not kick. It really makes the players concentrate on ball control, speed, and footwork.

I'll tell you how cold it was. How cold was it? It was so cold that I had to wear long pants and even used my hoodie. I don't guess I had too, but, it was windy and that made a huge difference in need.

The last 4 days the wind has been between 20-40mph which brings the windchill down to single#. Add in 2 inches of snow and that blasting into your face...well not a good start to late fall. But I feel for you more. You moved south away from cold so your weather is just rude.

Trying to work out a mini trip like I attended in 2008 for a memorable Mousefest trip in 2008, The final Mousefest a decade later. So hard to believe it was a decade ago. Great memories of that trip with so many awesome people, memories that will never fade or be forgotten, priceless memories. Now if I can back to back trips in short order??? Send Pixie Dust. Old friends trying to reunite and rekindle old times and memories. Woot! Hoping for stars to align.

Marinate boneless pork butt in aprox 1/3 cup soy sauce, 1/3 cup saki, couple of tbsp. garlic, ginger for up to 24 hours. In 8qt dutch oven put chopped carrots, onion, stems of bok choi, sliced daikon, chopped garlic, grated ginger, pork, soy sauce, saki and water. Bake 375 until pork is fork tender. Put dutch oven on stove remove pork to chop up add leafy part of bok choi frozen or steamed broccoli and peas. when leaves wilt add slurry of water and corn starch(or tapioca or arrowroot) with a few dashes toasted sesame oil when thickened add pork back in serve over hot rice

I need to find out what daikon is and I'll give this a shot. Sounds so yummy. Slurp.

We're having lobster soup tonight. The store cooked lobsters today and cut them up in containers of 3/4 pound up to a pound. So I bought a container and I also bought 2 (cup size) containers of lobster bisque. I'm going to heat up the bisque tonight, and put in the lobster. :hungry:
envy.. I love lobster bisque. Sadly not many know how to make it correctly.

Most bisques of generic restaurants have the tendency of using not only meat, but also the innards, brains, etc.. of the lobster to "make it more loaded and to have more product with less costs". and it ends tasting bad.

To be honest the first one is the only one that I have seen completely. After the first one the second wasn't living up to what I expecting so I never saw it all the way through. Didn't bother with the rest of them. Of course, for many people Johnny Depp was the only reason that many saw it to begin with. I have to say that I was completely impressed with Depp and how he interpreted Captain Jack. It was funny and exciting all at the same time.
I think I saw one....there was a kind of ghost ship with these creatures that looked human, but then turned skeletal and they couldn't eat or drink....I think it was because of a cursed treasure they stole? Anyway, that's the only one I've seen. I'm not much for movies like that. But I DO love the ride at Disney...it's my favorite.
