Thank you for asking.
I will miss her but I want her to have a good education and an enriching life experience.
She is heavily leaning toward Liberty University in VA. It's drivable for us. I hope that comes to pass. We can visit her if she misses us or if we miss her.....which of course we will! ;)
Pensacola would NOT be convenient.
I can't post what my dh has to say about Pensacola as this is a family friendly site

Tristan just said-

“Mom, I’m a little sad?”

“Why,bud?

“It’s kind of weird not receiving a Toys R Us Big Book of Toys this year. I miss looking at that and making my list. I’m lucky that I’m older though, I feel really sad for the little kids who can’t pick toys from it.”

“Me too.”

:( 😢
Every time one of those showed up I wanted to burn it:angelic:

Actually, it’s not much more broken than it already was, but, it’s still sittin’ there as of my drive home this afternoon... :cyclops:

Car in the Creek Watch update: day 20 (‘cause now I’m gonna’ start countin’ from the first day I know it went in there ;))...

Like you said, they're probably waiting for the creek to lower more, to get the car out. I think the owner fled the scene and abandoned it--but when it's pulled out, the cops will find the VIN and trace it. Wonder if the plates are still on it, or gone?

Oh dear. Poor little guy. This reminds me of when Sears stopped making their huge catalogs, that they mailed out to thousands across the country. Used to love that catalog every year. Everyone in the family had their "section" that they'd gravitate to. Something for everyone . . .

It was 1993 when Sears stopped production of it. Unlike T, I was well into adulthood back then. I imagine it's probably even harder for a kid to lose a welcomed catalog of toys, though.
