I love Boston! Both the band and the city!

I was a HUGE Tiffany fan. I wanted so badly to be the next Tiffany. I used to crank up my stereo and sing along into my hairbrush and pretend I was on stage....And dating Jordan from NKOTB.
I saw that this concert was going to be in St. Paul/Minneapolis too and thought it would be fun to go too. I hope you have a good time!
woah!I wasn't super into Debbie Gibson. I liked Electric Youth, but that's the only one I knew. I loved Whitney Houston....the one with The Greatest Love of All...that was the first cassette tape I bought. Then Bryan Adams - Reckless. Then Tiffany, and my first year of Junior High, my friend introduced me to NKOTB. I was a bit late with that. My mom was not at ALL into pop music....the music we listened to at home was stuff like, Oliver, Oklahoma, The King and I... I remember going to a friend's birthday party...it was a roller skating party, so we had to drive into the next town over (40 miles) and in the suburban, her mom had Michael Jackson on, and I had never heard it before, and I was the only one who didn't know the words.
I also remember hearing "Let's hear it for the boy" from Footloose when the local baton twirling class did a routine to it in the parade on the town birthday celebration. I loved that song, but didn't know it was from a movie. So my pop culture knowledge was really weak. When I got into 4th grade, we got a new music teacher, fresh out of college, and one of the things we did periodically was a singalong. She had taken all her favorites and had written out the lyrics, and every once in a while, we had a day where all we did was sing along to them. Kids would get to pick from the ones she had written out and we'd sing them along with the tapes. That's where I learned who Whitney Houston, Bryan Adams, and Tiffany were. I had never heard of White Snake, or Poison, or Bonjovi. Well, I hadn't really heard of ANYONE. It was all new to me.

Sympathy like. Stay warm my friend.I think I have won the winter watch prize. @MinnieM123 will be very jealous. Yesterday we had snow flurries. It didn't stick by us, but my husband had to drive about 40 minutes north and it started sticking to the roads. He said the road got a little slick in spots. Even some of the students at school who like snow and going snowmobiling said it was a little to early to see the snow.![]()
Sympathy like. Do you mean the pattern or interfacing itself?Dd is still working on the poncho. It is almost done. She is having an issue with the instructions for the interfacing. I cannot make heads or tails of the instructions.
Tell me about it. I wasn't thinking and went outside in a tank top to pick some nasturtium that's when a bug of some sort got my shoulder. I'm not sure what was worse the shivering or the itchingSympathy like. We went from 80 yesterday to 52 today. It is too drastic a drop. Too quick.
There is nothing to like about that. I hate this time of year!We had that temperature drop a couple weeks ago. The day it dropped there were a couple of tornado sightings in neighboring counties and we had a bad storm. That kind of temperature drop can be scary.
Yeah, it was 39 this morning and raining, I wore a jacket...![]()
and a sling shot![]()
I don't like that either! Sending war {{HUGS}} and hot chocolate
Maybe that's a good thing I only have 2 and a half months of no more clothes buying in the challenge![]()

Debating to get a lotto ticket ticket but might wait til tomorrow. If someone wins, everybody will be depressed and not play but if someone doesn't win, the jackpot will go higher. I forget who draws tonight.
First thing i would do is to leave the country.

Oh, me too. Every guy in the speech and debate circuit or Music that I had a crush on was gay. I was really good at choosing gay guys. They were just always the smart ones who were nice to me instead of being jerks. And the TV/Pop stars were the ones with the cool hair and nice clothes....they were so drool-worthy. Jonathan was a close second after Jordan for me. I did not really like Danny. Didn't Jonathan date Tiffany for a while?I was a Jonathan fan, and my BFF was a Joey fan. Why did he turn out gay? I was talking with a friend today, and apparently I have a knack for having crushes on gay males in the late 80's early 90's! I could name 3 others that I had crushes on that liked boys instead of me!
Haha...yeah, I was quite sheltered. My mom was very conservative and strict, and she was really late getting married and starting a family, so she was a generation older than other parents. She was into completely other things, so I was just kind of clueless. My best friend lived down the street from me, and I would go over to her house where they had magical things like...Dirty Dancing soundtracks and Pretty Woman on VHS. She had a huge poster of Bon Jovi over her bed and I was like "Who is that?" She also subscribed to one of the teen magazines...like...I want to say Teen Bop or Pop or something. And she introduced me to the 2 Coreys....Feldman and Haim. And Tommy Puett. What would I have done without her!!?woah!![]()
