Thanks for defending me, I didn’t mean to start an argument or anything, I just wanted the support from the few people that, I feel like me as a person.

I have to apologize to you if you think that I was in any way attacking or belittling your situation. They were two very separate comments about two very different scenarios.

I do hope that you find a club or activity you enjoy, and I hope you attempt to talk to your parents again. I still like mysmallworld’s advice as well! Just remember that their words are coming from a place of insecurity within themselves. :)

Lucky you! How was the show?
It was amazing. The Valjean actor ... Oh my goodness. So incredibly talented. He had an amazing falsetto. And his breath controlwas unbelievable. Everyone in the cast was incredibly talented, but he especially stood out. And the Cosette actress...I have to wonder what he range is. She nailed the high C, but it sounded like her range goes even higher, and it sounds like she's got a pretty decent lower range as well. Just all around great performance.

😁you can move down with me. Thanks! He is well. Cell service is still spotty but we usually talk when he sees a signal. They had to drive almost two hours to Georgia to stay last night. Rooms are hard to find with power.

I still remember all of the semi trucks after Wilma. We were at Fresh Market getting more water and met a driver, he said he was sleeping in his truck because at least it had AC. He had come straight from Biloxi (Katrina) to SoFla. He said “I don’t even want to think about how many critters are in my truck, I know they’re there. I can’t wait to sleep in a room with electricity.”

I have so much respect for people who help out after hurricanes. Kudos to your husband!!

I'm going to show my age a little bit here.. but today I bought tickets to see New Kids on the Block (with Tiffany, Debbie Gibson, Salt n Pepa, and Naughty by Nature) I might be a little bit psyched and silly.

The first concert I ever saw was NKOTB with Tiffany opening. With my best friend. She's going this time too!
All the cool people are those that remember that great musical time.

Omg!! Awesome!!! Ha!! I just got tickets on Tuesday for the Cincinnati show!!

There’s 6 of us going.. One was in charge of tickets.. sends us a message-“ Sorry all, they were $187, but we got them!! I hope you don’t mind!” She even paid to join some fan club or something so she could buy tickets early.🤦‍♀️

I want to sell mine. 😂😂😂 I didn’t want to pay that much. :(... but.. I know it will be a fun time!

Have you been to any of their concerts as an adult? I have not been since a teen or maybe tween.

Side note— the very first time I saw New Kids was when they opened for Tiffany.. at a smallish amphitheater at an amusement park.

And then.. a short time later.. it was frenzy status...and they were playing big arenas. A group of us went to every concert, decked out New Kids gear- down to our earings!! Lol. I’ll try to find a pic of one. They’re hilarious.

@Rista1313 Are you wearing fan gear or normal clothes? Some of my friends still have their clothes from when we were kids.. and wearing them.😂. The only thing I have left is a sleeping bag.

I am so glad that she didn’t watch the movie first!!!!

The book is so different from the play that it won’t spoil it. The movie would though.. that’s definitely a must-do live.. movie later on.,, and last but not least- 10th and 25th Anniversaries downloaded and ready to go at a moment’s notice. :)
I saw the movie first. It was required viewing for chorus when it came out. :hilarious: I don't mind that I saw the movie first. It meant I could follow what was going on and just focus on enjoying the voices. My mom had a bit of trouble following the plot. She didn't pick up, for instance, that Eponine was the Thenadiers' daughter.

She also didn't see Eponine or Javert's deaths coming. Of course, Javert commits suicide and she says, "Well, that was a bit of an overreaction..."

I'm pretty sure its illegal for legal reasons (as in public legal demonstrations) but he could do it to show his parents.

besides, most schools are already recording, so that claim is mooth if its in the school grounds or other public property.
Good point. Record so the parents can hear. What do you think @IamGroot! ? There was some great advice from @StarWarsGirl also a couple of posts up. Hope your day was ok.

Which of the movies you seen? the newer musical one with Hugh Jackman?
