nah, we sometimes love things so much and cling to them.
I remember watching kung fu panda 1 and 2 like 30+ times. I love them.. the songs as well.

right now I'm again in a FESTIVAL OF THE LION KING fever myself.
I watch the HD video at least once a day..
love the "the lion sleeps tonight" part.
 I watched both KFP yesterday! :D (And Secrets of the Furious Five too!)

ladies and gentlemen.. I present you my monstrosity.
my Frankenburger! :hungry:
DSC_0644.jpg

the giant plate makes it look small.
And yes, I was so busy setting up the camera that I did not noticed (until I was savouring it) that I had used 2 "upper" burger parts :hilarious:.
the second one (which I ate in joy) had the 2 lower parts.
I hope to take a better picture tomorrow on the round 2 (as I have more patties available ) :p

As for the recipe.
Pretty simple

  1. Garlic Salt
  2. Ground Black pepper (big)
  3. finely chopped onion
  4. ground beef
  5. 1 or 2 eggs depending on how much meat ( I used a bit more than half kilo for a total of 5 medium sized patties, so I used 2 eggs)
  6. Jugo Maggi
  7. Soy Sauce.
  8. Worcenstershire Sauce (Crosse and Blackwell)
  9. Mustard
  10. Oregano
  11. Pan Molido (ground bread?)
  • Mix the meat with a teaspoon of salt and groundpepper (or at your taste)
  • Add half onion, finely chopped.
  • teaspoon of soy sauce, maggi sauce and worcenstershire sauce.
  • add the eggs then a teaspoon of yellow mustard, mix thoroughly.
  • add the oregano (1 teaspoon should be enough, I like the strong flavor so I add around 2)
  • Now add 2 full spoons of groundbread (something like this.)
  • Mix until it it gets a consistence of goo.
  • Bread it more with the ground bread and then fry in a very hot pan with oil until it gets brown, turn around and keep frying it until it inflates, remove as soon it inflates (due of the internal juices)
Put it in your favorite burger bread with a slice of yellow cheese.

I also used my favourite SALSA of Mustard + Cream + Mayonaise + Jalapeo juice + spices. :hungry:

not very photogenic, but delicious.

I liked the POS versions and the new "leds".
call me old fashioned, but I never liked the "modern"(aka contemporary style lights and furniture)
The problem with the POS was the CFL bulbs. Did not work with the dimmer.
They hummed so bad that I would hollar at whoever to shut it off.

What good is a dining area fixture if you can't turn it on? Plus, it was ugly!

I like the new LED fixture a lot - just not as much as the old one yet.
But if my brother asks, I love it a million times more.

Looks delish! Very similiar to what I make with ground chicken (no beef for me). I also add chopped bell pepper and MUST have pickles on the sandwich. I use just maynaze and dijon mustard. I'm going to have to try your recipe (with ground chicken). When you say "cream" is that the canned table cream I see in the grocery? And FYI Pan Molido=bread crumbs. Try Panko crumbs for a crunchier texture. (Panko is just a coarser bread crumb).
