It was so much fun!!! We got two huge bags filled with 95% chocolate! 😉
This is who you were competing with last night. Two young girls spurred on by the CMs

108# of candy weighed in on luggage scale at resort desk. Yes their family flew to Orlando. Fortunately Southwest

EDIT: The 108# was collected in 45 minutes.

They definitely got their party tickets worth!! Imagine lugging that around though!

CM's were accommodating. We attended the very first Halloween Party in 1995 ($15 for Adults) both of my kids filled 2 pillow cases of treats. There was everything back then from chips to cereal, popcorn balls etc. There was only one Halloween Party and that was on Halloween Night. My DD was 4 and we rented a stroller. The only thing that Big Blue was good for was pushing around trick or treats. Before that trick or treating was free in DownTown Disney and you would visit all the shops for a different treat. The kids liked that too!

Day 3! Part 1

After expending all night planning for this day (on day 2 ). We finally had our plans set.

We decided to use the embedded offers of BCFerriesConnector, which team a high class coach bus to Victoria via the BCFerries for a single cost.
Each ticket was 140CADs, around 100 USD I think.
Then on Victoria we would walk around and then take the local Bus tour to Butchart Gardens.

The day started very early, we woke up at around 4:30 am..
We showered and got ready and left to the bus station, hoping to catch the 5:00 Bus.. but sadly, we missed it by an inch ( we were around 5 meters away when it closed doors and moved).
It was raining softly and we were worried we wouldn't make in time.
By 5:30 we were really worried, but the bus came, and it was pretty fast. In less than 10 minutes we were in the SeaBus.
Which takes 15 minutes on average. Then we ran to the Skytrain (metro) towards the Telus Science World area and we just needed to walk 1 block via a park to get to the BUS station.

We arrived as they started to board. The bus operator was very chill and said we still had like 20 minutes more (lol). He let my mom down again for a pit stop and then when the 20 minutes hit, he did a rollcall and we moved on.

The trip was pretty uneventful. The Bus operator only talked a bit about certain areas and landmarks as we went all the way down to the south (almost by the border to the USA) to get to the Tsawwassen Ferry terminal.

As usual we got one of the largest ferries (6 floors) with 2 cafeterias.. They changed the layout of these ships. They now have a private lounge (upcharge) with waiter service and a full blown Buffet at certain hours (with limited capacity).

We only bought a small bottles of drinks and my mother bought some weird vegan soup that looked like a mixture of cornflakes with milk, but the liquid was yoghurt like and the cornflakes were more like seeds.
I had no idea what it was, but smelled pretty bad but my mom loved the taste.

Fun part, we found another mexican passenger who had just arrived from the airport to study in Victoria.
She was VERY unprepared for the cold. She was in a dress and had a tiny jacket. I would be surprised if he didn't get ill.
We talked a bit before parting ways then we meet again in the top floor while watching the sea.
It was VERY cold and WINDY (with my defences low of stress, hours diffences, waking so early and sleeping so late.. this was the last straw)

But I just cant stop watching all the beauty of the Islands before Vancouver ISland.

We talked most of the trip while enjoying the view. She was just 18, fresh from the high school and in hopes to learn english before deciding an university.
Lots of luck to her!

Photos of the Trip which takes around 2 and half hours (I think the total trip time was 4 hours with both buses. So a total of 8 travel time hours. We only had like 5-6 hours in Victoria and Vancouver Island)

Managed to Catch a lot of ferries between islands.
Like 6 at same time.

There are Air packages too. If you want to be more time in Victoria, you definitively need to use this service.

Pintoresque houses in the nearby islands.

And lots of automated lighthouses and warning lights.

This guy followed the Ferry for almost all the way until a tugboat was near the ferry and scared her away.

I started using it because our mail man was very inconsistant in delivering mail. It would rain, no mail, sunny and nice, no mail, Friday, no mail. With this new system they are being held more accountable.

We had a very long term mailman that we all adored. Retired. Replacement: Blurg-He'd put handfuls of mail in everyone's mail boxes randomly. We were like an episode of Gilmore Girls when Kirk was the Mail Carrier and everyone was scrambling exchanging mail because Kirk refused to sort the mail before delivering.

One more boom and Mother Nature, a frying pan and myself will have a get together:angelic::angelic::angelic::angelic::angelic:

It just started ever so slightly tinkling here. I’m on the deck. It’s very windy but 79. I’m choosing to ignore it. The winds and later rains will bring colder temps tomorrow so I am going to enjoy it now. As I finish this post the rain tinkles stopped for the moment Frying pan released.

LOL... there is a company near my house that puts new puns up daily or weekly... I'm not sure... but my husband never "gets" them..... sometimes they are even too out there for me to understand!

We have a local church pastor that tries too. Most puns of his a real stretch but he amuses himself The pastor a good man but he is now in his 50s and thinks he is a comedian. I fail to grasp as funny men in real life are few and far between Likely cause I’m not a 50 something guy. He’s been here forever and this is a newish thing for him to be “on” a good chunk of the time now. Adding puns to the signs yet another new quirk. What is that?
