I haven't ever looked it up to check the validity of Da Batman's claims, but last year when I saw a bat hit the screen of my porch (in the middle of the day) it flew off and when into the neighbor's pine tree across the street. It was just an icky situation. (I hate bats!)
I have never seen a bat where we live in PA. We did have bats where we lived in Central Jersey. No pine trees there. I liked them because they ate bugs. I don't have a fear of bats like you, so don't mind them. I would if they were in my house though. My younger 2 loooove bats. One even did a report on them last school year. They squeal with joy at videos of bats too. :hilarious:

I love it! Somehow I missed the whole afternoon and evening here yesterday. We watched Solo after dinner, and I really liked it. It reminded me of the original series.
THNX Got it cut out this morning except for the pink, I still have to trace that part of the pattern. Yea I watched Book Club sans kids. Not a great plot so it's a good thing I like the actresses in it btw DO NOT watch it with kids around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SHHHHHH! It's going under the tree. edit Solo not book club lol

Eek!! We actually have a pine tree, and my next door neighbor has one too. I’m going to look for bats now. 😂
When discussing the option of replacing an Oak Tree with a Pine because of the mess an Oak makes, consider this, there is no messier tree on the planet then a Pine Tree. They have three shedding periods. Not necessarily in order, pine cones of varying sizes from rice crispy size to full size. (the rice crispy size is the worse especially if you have a pool) and the always loved Pine pollen that covers everything in that lovely yellow/green blanket. Later in the summer when the pine pitch starts to drip on everything under it. and finally the massive shedding of pine needles in the fall. If you think a few Acorns are a mess... you ain't seen nothing yet. Those tiny pine cones and the needles get in every crack and crevice of your house and car and they don't just blow away or roll off. So other then the fact that they stay green all winter when not covered with snow, breaking branches and the like. Pine tree would get my support for elimination anytime.

Wholeheartedly agree. Pine trees are THE worst!

And pines are the first tree to fall in a heavy wind storm too. I don’t care for pines either.

I'm now wondering if I should do a mini trip report in here.

Also, my english exam scores just arrived.

I have 11 reading skills out of 12 (very advanced)
writing skills of 9 out of 12 (advanced)
listening of 6 (adequate, basic)
and 5 of speaking (mid panic attack, borderline basic)
That is really impressive!! So what does that mean for the job search? Are there specific requirements? Are there any you don't meet and if so, can you redo it?
