Well now they truly see how hard you work. Maybe they will appreciate you more.Geez it's just 10am and already I'm hearing my hands hurt and 2 of them are splitting the work

Aren’t you too young and pretty to be one of those?So my oldest Stepson proposed to his girlfriend last night. It seems I'm going to be a step-mil... is that a thing? I told my husband he's authorized to offer them up to $1000 to elope. The 2019 WDW trip is potentionally on the line!
They could always elope at Disney and then you don’t lose your trip.

So my oldest Stepson proposed to his girlfriend last night. It seems I'm going to be a step-mil... is that a thing? I told my husband he's authorized to offer them up to $1000 to elope. The 2019 WDW trip is potentionally on the line!
Congrats to them! But maybe they will pick a Disney wedding!

Have it in WDW and take care of both things at once. Your Step-DIL's family are paying for it right? If not... never mind! Sorry, I just want to see the family of the bride fulfill their obligations mostly because I had to pay for most of my own (even though my in-laws had plenty of money), then paid for both my daughter's weddings. aww Thanks... I'll actually be 48 this month! My stepson is 25, so technically I'm old enough... but I'm not ready yet!

No idea of the plans just yet... I feel sorry for her parents, they just finished paying for 4 years of Michigan State for the bride... As the grooms family, I think we are responsible for the rehearsal dinner... and sometimes for the bar tab (YIKES)
I'm hoping the $1k to elope is enticing! LOL

That's so great to hear! I actually came back on to ask how he was doing, so thanks for the update!! I'm assuming he'll be stuck in the hospital for a while, though, right? If he was flown in and in ICU, I can't imagine he'd be released very soon. Have they given any sort of a timeline?He's out of the ICU and at some point yesterday, he pooped

None of the weddings I ever attended/participated in had an open bar. There was a bar, but, people paid for their own. Solved that problem. No one ever complained especially after they had a few.

Thanks goodness! Hubby has 2 boys, his younger one is 19 and lives with us, he has no girlfriend that I know of, so don't have to worry about him with that anytime soon. My hubby is 2 years younger than me, and had his first one young. So young in laws we will be.

Love it!! I never would have thought to do the marshmallows with the fruit. That is such a fantastic and creative idea!! If you ever want to get out of the insurance biz, I'm sure you could have a party planning business.Had A's half birthday tea party yesterday... This year she chose superheros for her theme!

One is never ready. Wait until step grand-parenting is part of your label. I was 52 when that happened so you have a full four years to adapt to that one.
