On a bit of a more somber note...
Have been watching History Channel tonight...9-11-01. I will never forget where I was when I first heard about the beginnings of it that morning, and all through the aftermath. I could go into further vivid details, but, will refrain.
Even us way down here we’re not unaffected, and I’ve posted this here more than once before.
I had met the pilot of flight 77, the flight that hit the Pentagon, Charles “Chic” Burlingame, on a layover flight here in Austin when my SIL was still flying as an American Airlines domestic flight attendant. They were here for a coupla’ hours one time on a layover, and she invited us out to the airport to see them. She also knew my love for all things flying and knew I would more than enjoy meeting him and him letting me sit in the second officers seat for a bit, and talking about all things flying.
He was so gracious and a gentleman, and I will never forget it.
Also, the coworker and fellow Flight Attendant
who my SIL had taken care of the guest book at our wedding in Dec. of ‘88, and her husband, were on the same flight, and died in that attack. Her name was Jennifer Lewis.
So far away were we, but, yet, so close.
Continued prayers to all affected in any way by that tragic day.

Hug your whole family, keep each other close, and the sweetest of dreams and/or morning to all of you and yours...!!! :)

Love that, too! Especially with garlic sauce.

Btw I miss the blue face with the omg wide open mouth.

Kylie and cats do not mix! They’re the only things that make her bark other than the doorbell.

When she was a pup of 1 year old, we adopted her while still in our old apartment, and if I had to walk her at night, cats would come from all directions and jump on her hindquarters. I carried a broom with me every time to shoo them away. It was crazy!
Garlic goes in everything, doesn't it. I grew up in NE Joisey
Puppy time:joyfull::joyfull:

I thought this was kinda’ pretty with the low clouds amongst the hills. It’s in the neighborhood across the road that I shortcut through to my country backroad on my commute to and from the office. Seen it like this many times this time of year but never stopped to take a pic...! :)

That is pretty. I like that they have those little reflectors in the road. Those are always great at night. I wish more roads had them.

Thanks for sharing that. We should live, but not forget.

Please everybody from central Pa. south to northern Fl. From the coast out to the Ohio valley be safe and keep an eye on the storm and do what ever prep is needed NOW! Be safe my friends and I hope @The Mom doesn't get so much as a sprinkle
As of right now, we have rain in the forecast for tomorrow, and on and off rain through the weekend. They are showing heavy rain Tuesday, so I wonder if that will be remnants of the storm.

Here. You'll need this when you go out in the rain. Rain is kind of a drag, but at least you'll still look stylish.
