Character Dining confirmed to be coming to Artist Point at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort

I'm sorry but I don't like that. 2 words Toon Town:grumpy: 2 credit character meal:brb::brb::brb::brb::brb::brb::brb:

If they had all seven dwarfs there, that would be a slam dunk two credit meal. They hold the dwarfs only for the parties, so this would definitely get sold out, imo. But with only two dawrfs included, I'm not sure this is going to take off like they want it to.

One of the partners today told me that it happened again (only the second time I’ve ever heard of it since I started in the business in 1980) yesterday evenin’ at a meetin’ he was in with a new client...
The space the walls of a home take up should not be counted as livable footage that they should be billed for. :facepalm::cyclops:
He, carefully and politely, explained to them that our contract (as do about 99 out of 100 other firms ;)) is based on total covered area...which includes the walls...!!!!! :hilarious:

Yes, you may not be able to “live” in the actual physical space the walls occupy, but, they kinda’ hold everything up, are filled with expensive lumber, wiring, etc., have roof over them, plus slab, floor trusses, etc., under them, and it all, pretty much, protects you from the elements...
Bonus!!! We don’t charge for any of the actual air space you “live” in...just the stuff that creates it...!!!!!!! :joyfull::hilarious:
Wow. Just, wow.

What a great sound! I love the sound of brass instruments. Nice that your kids appreciate that kind of music(I will go out on a limb and say real music). Many nowadays do not.
It isn't a limb. It is real music. DS is jazz 24/7. Has been since eighth grade. He didn't listen to much before that. Guess nothing else really tickled his fancy.

DD plays trombone, and I am pretty sure it is hard and she takes quite a ribbing for playing one. During half time last year, I was standing behind a "grown up" who thought it was pretty hilarious that the pom girl ( she runs from poms to her position for half time, and is one of three pom outfits in a sea of marching band uniforms) was playing trombone.
I told him that is my daughter, and she can play most of the other trombone players on that field under the table. He shut up. If a grown up can be like that, I can just imagine what she hears from other students. So, when she gets to see someone like Trombone Shorty, who makes trombone the coolest thing ever, and can play it like that, it helps. It also helps that for 8th grade jazz band, their main song that year was Backatown.

Good morning, everyone! Looks like it is shaping up to be a nice day today. My dad is in town, so he came by for dinner last night, and will be back again tonight! I haven't seen him since our trip back in March 2016. The big thing here is the parade on Monday. The forecast doesn't look great, but I have sat with my group of die hard fans in rain and oppressive heat. I think I finally get a day to "rest" Saturday.
