It's the only way he can double up on a couple of courses.
Sugar cookieIs that a cake?!
Pretty!!! love the color.Wish the doodles were on sale. Dd is making scrunchies and the crushed velvet is harder than the doodles to make the bow. Here is a pic of the jersey one she made. It has an attached bow. She is making these for the craft fair next Saturday to sell.

Tastes really good. I made the kale one with spinach, onions, peppers, and cabbage with a basil pesto vinaigrette. Really delicious. The pasta was also $2.37. Not bad for organic.
Well, don't tell anyone, but I heard they have schools in Florida, too. AND churches!![]()
Well, I suppose you are in an area with a higher percentage of Lutheran churches than other parts of the country....a lot of Germans in Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, etc. Just out of curiosity, which synod is your DH? But we used to go to church every sunday, even on vacation, so I'm pretty sure Florida has Lutheran churches, too.Yeah, I try to make that argument. We have a good deal here though.
That would involve even more transporting of him. His current ride is an hour each way. Believe it or not this may be the least of my headaches with the courses he wants to take before graduation. He's also planning on spending some time at the grandmas during the school year which he can't do going to a regular classroom. His class can be mobileDoes his school not allow for courses at Community College? The nice thing about that is the extra courses are all college credit
I have the ultimate argument. SNOWYeah, I try to make that argument. We have a good deal here though.

Is that maybe why he doesn't want to leave?

DS had his first day of school today....my baby is in 6th grade. He said he had a great day. They mostly just went around the room and told the class what they did in the summer vacation and they watched a movie, and they went over the rules.
DD starts tomorrow and says she is no way going to let me take a picture. I told her some day she's going to want to see what she looked like on her first day of junior high....she says no she won't because she's going to look silly. I said "Why? You going in your PJs?" and she said yes.![]()
I'm glad I don't have a picture of my first day of junior high because I looked ridiculous and I was traumatized. My mother insisted that I could not wear jeans to school on the first day because I would be meeting my teachers for the first time and needed to make a good impression. She wanted me to wear a dress, but I knew NO ONE would be wearing a dress (I was right) so she said I could wear dress slacks. But the only slacks I had were hand-me-downs from a friend's daughter and they were a few sizes too big and they were bright yellow, and then I had a yellow and white striped button-down shirt, also too big, to match. I looked like a circus clown and I was laughed at the whole day because I was the only kid who was not wearing jeans, and I looked like a clown. I'm not even telling DD what to wear and she won't let me take a picture.Maybe her best friend's mom will insist on taking a picture of all them together.....they have a whole group doing the dual immersion program and they are all riding their bikes together and meeting at the best friend's house. She might be more receptive to another mom asking.

We are safe where we are from natural disasters and it is a safe place for kids to be raised. Cost of living is low as well. My house an hour closer to DC would be a million dollars. Cost of living in FL has gone up the last couple of years. We went to look at houses outside Disney 2 years ago and a KB Home in Windermere was selling for over 600k. They have had a housing boom after the crash.Ha! I agree!
His response is: Florida: hurricanes, alligators, poisonous snakes
California: wildfires, landslides, earthquakes![]()
