Can someone in the US do me a favor? We want to stay at the Poly for one night on our trip next Summer before we fly home. I just tried to price it out and it's telling me that one night with the 4 of us is over $1500. Is that true?? $1500 for ONE night? I mean, I know it's Disney and the prices are more than just a standard hotel somewhere, but I was thinking it would be 1/3 of that price. How can anyone afford to stay there at $1500 a night? But I can't access the US site to see if there's a difference. I'm wondering if they are price-gouging Europeans for short stays. I even went back to make sure it was hotel cost only and didn't include tickets. So could someone look up what a 1 night stay at the Poly costs for you? Thank you!

Which date? Or at least month?

Oh, I meant the stigma attached to men being stay at home dads. I know there are men who want to stay home with their kids while the wife goes to work, but there's a stigma attached to that, and I think men would stay home more often if it wasn't looked down on so much. It's considered "weird"....but why? They are just as much his children as hers. There's no reason why a man shouldn't be the one to stay home.
Blame it on b reasts. If women didn't have any they would be less thought of as the one that provides nurturing and direct care. Social roll assignment. You know, men are supposed to be out building a better world (until recently) while women are relegated to making sure that the future (male) generations continue to be solid productive parts of the society to have the world continue on with no gaps and to be a roll model for the female offspring.

In my family, I have one of each. One of my girls stays at home and cares for the castle and kids (including home schooling) and the other is out in the business world and is the main support of her family. Her husband was never a stay at home Dad, just didn't have the earning capability that she has. Both feel guilty about their choice for exactly the opposite reasons. It is a tough world to live in.

Thanks....I think I might have to call Smallworld vacations and see if they can book it for me. I'm not paying 1500 for one night! That's just insane. And I can't believe they are completely 100% full for a year from now. There must be some sort of filter that it's not letting me see the standard rooms for all the dates.
You can call Disney directly or maybe @Kingdom Konsultant or @wannabeBelle can help you. You may be better off with them for one night
