My older ds is home and James is getting transported in a SUV on roads that to my knowledge have never flooded. My dh made it to work safely no flooding on the way, if it gets bad they have cots there

No flooding in my neck of the woods. There is rain out there somewhere and we had a little yesterday. Nowhere as much as you got. Times like these make me grateful that we chose a house that was the highest point on a hill. Great views and no flooding. Hope your family stays safe.

Yes. There was a retirement village in my town the required evacuation. My neighborhood was fine when I returned from PA.
Do you have a UPS or a regulator ?My phone and computer both made a noise I never heard either make before. Let's just say it was loud and annoying and I'm lucky not to have to replace both. Anyhoo it was for a severe flash flood warning. I'm home on top of the hill on top of the mountain. Hello computer, unless the whole state is under water don't bother meAt this point I may as well stay up, get everybody up and ready to go and then try and sleep. Don't worry our backups have backups. Even my stove, fridge, dishwasher, washer and dryer and such have assorted shut downs. We only replace once an item has been worn out. My dh is a tech head so handles that
