In 10 minutes my daughter and I are heading out on a 2 hr 40 minute road trip to Lancaster County PA. First stop Katie's Amish Kitchen Restaurant. 2nd stop is the real reason we are going. My daughter will have her first of many future college tours. The next two will be in early November. Today we will be touring Lancaster Bible College. Tour starts at 1PM. Done at 3PM.
It's raining here so we are gonna leave here momentarily so I can take my time on the road. I'll report back later.

Have fun on your road trip! (I never heard of Lancaster Bible College--does your daughter want to become a minister, for example? Although my guess is that might also require some graduate school as well.) Anyway, I wish her well with her selection of a college. We already know that she's got a new part-time job and tries hard--with credentials like that, she will be a success no matter what career she chooses. :)

Hopefully they don’t stain tubs like they did when I bought them years ago.
That’s what reviews are for. I always read now. I never had issues with crayola brand with foams, markers or paint etc for tub or car windows. Could be some tubs and I can imagine is there was any soap scum on tiles or tub that itself could hold color.

Thanks.. it went almost too good to be true. I can leave for T’s games every other Saturday, and after 90 days will have every other Saturday completely off. After 12 months I can work 8-6 4 weekdays.. and every other Saturday.

This company has been trying to get me for close to a year.. my boss would actually be someone who’s a good friend of mine and former colleague. It’s just a matter of if I trust them to keep my schedule that way, and if I’m willing to start over on vacation time. I’m one year away from 3 weeks of paid vacation, where I’m at now. :(

The compensation package is actually better there as well, however, it’s a relatively new plan, and in my business owners have a tendency to change compensation percentages. My company has not done that, but I know a lot do. He told me that he doesn’t think there will be any change in the foreseeable future. It seriously sounds too good to be true.

Well, good for you!! Interviews are stressful at best, and it sounds like you nailed it! I'm sure you have some thinking to do about which job you want, not to mention how you'd break it to T. Best wishes to you.

Thank you. It’s going to be a tough decision.

If you do choose the newer position, maybe you could tell T that there's always a possibility that someone there might also have kids--and maybe he could make a new friend. But most of all, tell him the decision is really about the two of you--and spending time together, and not being stressed out with tight schedules, etc. He may come around in due course. He's a kid--give him time.

Glad it went so well.

Many companies will match vacation time for new hires they court. As you mull it over you can tell your friend that vacation is a difficult thing for you given you are a young family. Maybe they will concede that. Also offers put in writing outlining the promised schedule. You’ll know how serious they are and honest about your future with the firm. Knowing him and being courted for so long gives you an edge to at least present your concerns

I double what these smart ladies said @21stamps . I think if you just tell T that you will be able to go to more games and have actual free time, he will be all in.

I like the flowers! Thanks for asking.:inlove:
Oops forgot a color. Maybe a peach color?
I agree with her peach too @93boomer A peach tone that is from the same orangish rust in the curtain would pull it all together without being to matchy matchy. Love that curtain.

I have a friend that changes her towels and curtain every year and also paints the bathroom annually. It is an average size bathroom. Her mindset is under a hundred dolllars and she has a brand new room every few years she does the same with her kitchen. A little paint and a couple cute curtains and done.

Since I had kids I’ve always put up two shower curtains. They had a hard time with one curtain getting it to completely close while showering. The double curtain is fuller, looks nicer and water never rolls out on floor

Sure, but, for pure nonsense nothing can beat "My Mother the Car". I don't think that ever got enough episodes to be eligible for syndication though. For those of you that never saw it. D ick Van D yke's brother Jerry stared in it. It was about a woman that died and her soul got stuck in a car. She spoke to her son (Jerry) via the radio. Who wouldn't have loved that show.
Here ya go. Enjoy.

How's your mom doing?
Given her age OK. Mixes more stuff up all the time. Most I ignore sadly something’s I can’t cause the are more important. She leaves to go to Chautauqua NY, on Saturday My sis owns a house there too. Let’s all pray her flights go off correctly to avoid a melt down crazy. Ordered a wheelchair there and back. That should take some stress off trying to find gates While gone I’m going to go to her house and FIX somethings.
