I never heard anyone refer to the brass instrument pictured here as lovely. Could be though. Yet maybe when @StarWarsGirl posted: "....happens to have a lovely baritone...." maybe she left off the word "voice". So just a guess: Maybe her meaning was: "he happens to have a lovely baritone voice"??

Maybe you’re right, or maybe she could still be suffering from altitude sickness from last Thursday.

I saw him perform with The Beach Boys years ago!

I saw him with them before too, late 80's. I wasn't as much of a fan of his then. I did love the Beach Boys though, so did my mom. She actually had then perform at one of her high school dances in the 60's, she lived in the Chicago suburbs at the time. I always thought that was super cool.

Keep in mind that is the items listed were limited.

Clothing was listed, but it had to be $75.00 or less. Sale price for Computer must by $750.00 or less. School Computer supplies and School supplies were the final two things list.

I didn't get anything during the sales tax free event either. But since I buy clothes in MN I don't have to worry about sales tax anyway.

Shower

Throw on uniform.

Comb thru my wet hair.

Look for my backpack that I was supposed to have placed by the door.

Pull up hair in a bun while in the car. Zero chance of makeup on my face.

I never went on Universe of Energy, but I have seen POV videos for it. I probably would have done it once, and been done. Maelstrom was just...weird, in my opinion. So I’m with you!

So I mentioned to dh that the walls were getting kind of dingy. I thought he would grumble, but nope, he was excited to go to Lowes and get paint colors. So we started on the dining room which is now done and have moved on to the kitchen/dining area. How are your projects going @21stamps and @93boomer ?

Looks like a gorgeous room all around.

My projects are still going... there’s a big trailer in my driveway all weekend. Hopefully all finished by end of next week.

I like the color. Did you paint all of that without taping or putting down tarps? I couldn't do that , I'm too messy.

Might have been. I can't remember. In middle school and high school my mom, dad and I would go to the Beach Boys concerts whenever they were near our area. So a lot of the concerts kind of blend together. I'm on the fence about going to the concert in a couple weeks. I would like to see John Stamos, but the rest of the group is kind of either up there in age (& ability now) or not original members. Part of me just wants to remember seeing the group when they were a little more able to rock.
