I started reading this book. It is really fascinating to learn about the creativeness and detail that is in each park. DH is reading it too. He already says that we are carrying it with us on our next trip to see how many things he can find that he didn’t know were there. View attachment 301646

That looks interesting. I'll have to add it to my list. After I finish a Nora Roberts book that I currently have checked out from the library I'm going back to my Disney summer reading with a book about Roy O Disney.

Yes, indeed... Cary, besides being the Containment Area for Relocated Yankees, prides itself on it's aesthetics. The money spent on beautification is mind boggling, but, it does make for a very pleasant area to live in. It does have some very high priced areas and some ghetto areas (where I live), but, even those are nicer the some of the best areas in other cities. My problem is if I will be able to afford to live here as I grow older and my opportunity for the necessary income diminishes.
Hopefully it will settle down.

Love tator tots. Prefer vegan dogs though. ;)

I've never had a vegan dog so I guess I can't judge, but my Oscar Mayer ones were delicious! And I got 2 packs of them for $2...I love a good bargain!

Oh and I'm impatiently waiting for hubby to come home so we can have dessert. He had a lunch meeting today, and had to travel about an hour for it. But the the meeting was at a restaurant called the Norske Nook and it is well known for its good food and PIES! Hubby brought home a chocolate peanut butter pie and a pecan pie. I can't wait to dig in!

Those Cincinnati prices are crazy for what they offer. Kentucky seems very reasonable. Actually think long term how much you could save. But if family is closer to where you are now maybe stay.

Oh I’d love a brand new 3000sq ft home.. friends who live there are very happy with their catholic school, and most people work in Cincy.. but T is going on his 4th year at his school, friends established, and I’d hate to change that at this point.
Plus.. we wouldn’t be able to hop over to Kings Island just for an hour or two. ;)

Mean while...

Its now raining.. not so hard..
but still omnius dark clouds..View attachment 301688

I think clouds like that are beautiful!
