The Great Lakes can be as dangerous as the oceans. I think people forget that. Are there lifeguards there?

I would assume even more so dangerous. At least with the oceans the waves come from steady directions and you can see rip tides pretty clearly. The few times I've been to the Great Lakes, the waves were unpredictable and often came from multiple directions all at once. And the sand drop off seemed steeper than the ocean as well. Like you would be walking and then you wouldn't, where as the ocean is a steady decline.

My kids (girls) are now into Grease. Been playing that over and over the last couple of days. Luckily some of the parts go above their heads, but then dd11 wanted to know what certain thing Keniki(spelling error) had that broke in the car. I ignored that question.

We were late to the party on The Greatest Showman. 1st rented from Red Box, then I ended up buying it this past Friday. It’s now become T’s favorite movie and Pandora channel.

Cannot wait to go to bed tonight. I love Hershey, but the day after...:in pain:

I feel ya!! We were at Kings Island on Wednesday til 10pm. Then back on Tuesday from 9:30-after midnight. Then last night from 8pm - 11pm (park closed at 10 but we were still in a queue).

I’m so sore.

I’m not sure if there were lifeguards on that beach.. I know some have them and some don’t. It’s been several years since I was actually swimming in one of the Great Lakes. The past few times that I’ve gone to Sandusky has been during cooler temps.

I’m just going to make sure that T stays close to me and knows what to do.. I hope he wouldn’t panic if caught.. I think we’ll make sure to swim in a crowded area.

Our first towel animal from our stateroom attendant Simpen from the Philippines...one of the the most pleasant people we have ever met (including Wahyu, who was our stateroom steward on our last cruise) was new, but, he became exponentially better during the cruise with the towel animals, as you will see...!!! :)

Anyway, I don’t judge a stateroom steward by their towel animal skills :hilarious:..!!!!!

Yes, that is definitely a Pitch Perfect movie, but I'm not sure if it's 1, 2, or 3. Pitch Perfect is my favorite movie.

Summer can't get over soon enough. We're in the middle of an obnoxious heat wave -- 90+ degrees for a high on the the next 5 days, with humidity. :banghead:
Agreed! We've been in the 90s for WEEKS now. Tomorrow is supposed to be over 100. I really can not handle this heat. I wish we had air conditioning! They've been giving us popsicles once per shift every day at work because it's so dang hot.

Our’s ends tomorrow, of course I bought T’s shoes and ordered all of T’s uniforms (besides the monogrammed ones) prior to the Tax Free. Didn’t even know about it until Saturday. :hilarious:

In Ohio the Tax Free is for school supplies/clothes.. but it does apply to any clothes. I buy the school supply kit from the school, so unfortunately the Tax Free doesn’t benefit me too much.

❤️❤️!!!

Here’s the one I had, was yours the same? (Pic from Google)

Nope, mine was different....It had a few of these on it though....I'll have to see if I can find it. I'm pretty sure I still have it somewhere. I remember it had Any Dream Will Do. And it had Tell Me on a Sunday, and I Don't Know How to Love Him.
Edited to add: Only You and Love Changes everything

We just watched that tonight while we ate dinner. Well, the first half. DH said it's coming out in theaters for its 40th anniversary!! I love that movie.
