Thanks, Figgy!!!!! She sure is...!!!!!!! :inlove:
DD is actually doing really well with the heat...after all, she was born and raised here, so she’s pretty used to it anyway...!!! ;):)
We hit a very humid 105 a few days right before we had James and even I went looking for A/C the last week. My doctor went into a panic with the heat wave and had everybody in for a blood pressure check and such every couple of days. Guess who didn't have any issues;)

Although I’ve never owned a white car, they tend to be pretty popular around these parts.
The color of our dirt tends to be lighter, so it really shows up more on darker colored cars.
Also, darker colored cars tend to absorb more heat in the summer...or, so I’ve been told...! :cyclops:;):)

One of the crazy things about South Florida is that black cars are probably the most popular. 😂
Myself included. All I drive is black on black vehicles. I do get the windows tinted which helps a lot with the heat.

My husband’s cars were white, orange, blue, red, and (bright) green. I am not a fan of colored cars!! I do think white cars and white suvs look nice though, I do kind of like dark brown vehicles as well. The thing with heat though, if his cars were 105 degrees and mine was 115 degrees because of the black.. they’re both still HOT

I haven't been to Great Adventure since before my friend moved down that way. I have no desire to go back.

Ohhhhh. That doesn’t sound good. What didn’t you like?

I grew up with Hershey as our go to park and it just seemed not as nice. That being said I haven't been since before the kids.

Came back from seeing Christopher Robin. Yet again, another Disney film that brought tears to my eyes. Happy tears. The audience clapped when it was over. A very sweet film overall. I loved that Jim Cummings voiced many of the characters. There is a lot of backstory, but I understand why it was needed. Overall a great film that may be enjoyed by older folks more than a 5 year old. My kids 7-17 all enjoyed it.

He has been tested once per year for the past 3 years..everything came back negative for celiac and all blood/urine tests are in normal ranges.

You need it!!! Give yourself a break from cooking and the noise of teens! :)

My dog is having pee-where-he’s-not-supposed issues for the past few months. It’s so frustrating!!! He’ll be 12 years old in a couple months and vet said sometimes this can happen. The weirdest thing is- it’s only in T’s rooms!!! Both the playroom and bedroom. He’s always been jealous of T... even after 8 years. I suspect that it’s more than old age, but it’s so frustrating either way. I try to keep the doors closed at all times.. if one’s open, Reilly will pee somewhere about once per week.:banghead:
They’re small spots and typically we catch them right away.. but I worry about damage to the carpet padding.
Ours has peed on our hardwood floor downstairs and in our bathroom. She has had accidents on our upstairs carpet before and that is frustrating. Unfortunately with pets and kids you have to expect messes, which is why we haven’t replaced our couches yet. No pee on the couches at least.

Do you have more than one theater? I always search several of them to see who has the best seats, and willing to drive an extra 10-15 minutes if find our favorite row/seats. I’m probably late on this reply, maybe the website came back up?

I’ve been sporadically looking for good Universal deals for over a year now... haven’t found any!
There is a theater at the dead mall in our town but it is old and uncared for. There are newer theaters all within 30 miles of the house. The kids like the lounging chairs at the theater we went to today so that is why we went there. The website did start working again. You choose your seats at this theater.

Haven't been to Great Adventure since 2000.
We had gone to Jackson though after that because one of our cockatiels had gotten out of the house and flew the 20 miles or so straight to Jackson. We had signs up for the missing bird on every stop sign in our town and a bunch of nearby ones. A lady from Jackson called one day and said that she found a bird fitting our description at her bird feeder the day after he disappeared. She said he flew right onto her shoulder and knew that he was a pet. She saw our sign a few weeks later and called us. Amazing story considering it was a tiny bird. He passed away last year.
