Didn't think our cruise next year was badly priced 🤔
Maybe the U.S. cruises are highly priced. But then we are a family of 6 and need 2 rooms. A 3 day cruise for us in 2015 on DCL was $3000. Dh said he would rather use that money towards a week at WDW. A 3 night now would be over $4000 for a regular non verandah room and concierge would be over $7000. That is too much for 3 nights. I can spend a couple of weeks at the beach in Hilton Head for that price, or a decent week at the world. Maybe when their new ships come out, and if they have rooms that aren't suites that can accommodate 6, I may check again on prices. Now it is beyond what is reasonable for us. :(

Just 2 of you in a cabin, correct? I think if it was just dh and me, it would be more reasonable, but once you start adding the kids, it is too much. They will never bring back the kids sail free thing either. We should have taken advantage of that when they had it in the early thousands. Never thought of doing it then. A week for us would be close to $12,000.

O.k. Here's a thrilling question for a Sunday afternoon. Anyone buy a vacuum cleaner recently? Our place here is small, with just one 5x7 foot rug in the livingroom. and there is carpet going up the stairs.

I have a regular (light-weight) Eureka upright vacuum that I bought maybe 8 years ago, and I also have a small hand-vac. Here's the problem: neither one has much suction. The upright one cleans a bit, but sometimes some dirt also comes out the back! :p (Yes, I empty the dirt cup thing each time.) The little hand-held vac leaves more dog hair than it suctions up on the stairway rug.

Priced out different vacuums today at Target and BB & Beyond. So many choices--very confusing. Walked out. Do you know that some of the Dyson ones are over $500?! Heck, I'll leave the place a dump before I pay that! :hilarious:

Obviously, there's much cheaper models of other brands. Just curious what other people here use.

We love love love love our Dyson cordless Animal
