I myself wondered if this was all about a Buick and if he would have not been so unreasonable if she had agreed to a Buick.

Probably. He was still pushing for one after I had already test drove and nixed the idea. The sales guy who sold my mom their Enclave did the test drives with me of the Encore, and he said to her that he could tell I was just doing it to please my dad and there was no way. I did my research on the Regal, and it had such a low reliability rating that I said no to it. I finally printed out a bad review and highlighted key points and left it on his desk to get him to leave me alone. My mom was against the Encore.

I also was thinking about it, and I wouldn't have been irritated if he had said, "You know what, we really need Wednesday night to figure out what we're doing out with the Bravada. Would you postpone the delivery of the Civic until Thursday, and that way I can go with you?" And I probably would have said yes.

We've had a lot of growing pains. My mom and I haven't had nearly as many. I can't speak highly enough of my mom; she's wonderful.

Today is the last "Thursday" of my school year. I teach my band kids one lesson once a week....so from now until the last day of school (Wed. 6/20) every time a kid walks out of my room it's the last time I'll see them. They all move on to Middle School next year
...........but it's just 2 weeks until my Royal C. cruise out of Vancouver

Enjoy your last Thursday! It's always fun to look forward to a vacation!

Spent in Disney?

Not this year. Hubs is on a church youth trip from the 25th (our anniversary) until July 1st, so I'm home with the dog on my b-day this year. But I will be in Disney on his b-day which is next Thursday. That is the Epcot day on my trip with my college friend. I leave tomorrow for that, perhaps I should pack.....

It seems like your shoe had dried powdered soap and the salt/untreated water activated it? looks weird.. I mean what else could cause the foam? My only answer would be bacteria.. but the foam bacteria is( as far I know) only seen on the sea.

Ohhh, so as you were walking it was making suds. That is funny. Like someone put bubble solution in your sneaker.

That’s what I kept wondering, could I have spilled laundry detergent in one of my shoes.. but my shoes are never near the laundry.. could T have spilled bubble solution?
I have no idea.
All I know is it was absolutely crazy. Every time my foot moved soap bubbles would come out everywhere.

Here’s one more KI pic.. this group wasn’t with us, the girl next to me asked I wanted to ride with her so I didn’t have to wait for the next train. We all decided on our photo pose together, they wanted to cover their eyes.. T’s friend must have forgot.lol.

(Notice how I’m in a sweatshirt while the girl next to me is in a tank top. It was only 80 degrees in the morning, that’s sweater weather for me)

If the money they were getting for the old car was not going to be used towards the new one, then this whole argument was moot. You could have said here is the money for your old car that you want. I am getting my new one now. End of story.

Exactly, which makes me wonder if he wanted the Buick so he could "borrow it" for X reasons that he wanted.
Aka he wanted the Buick but he didn't want to invest in a new car.
