I try not to nap any more than once or twice per week.
I just muddle through, very tired.

Once I return to work, I'll start going to bed a little earlier, taking a Gravol to help me sleep if necessary.
dont overdo the sleeping pills.
You start to become dependant on them.

both my father(before he died) and some aunts.. could not sleep, they only could sleep taking the pills and they would never dream.

Pretty much in the US and Canada, you can only get sleep aids that don't carry a dependency risk. Prescription sleeping pills are the ones that carry those risks. Which is why they are prescription.

Yup, I hear you.
Gravol is actually an anti-nauseant, which has the side effect of drowsiness; so not really a sleeping pill at all.

When my MIL was ill, but weeks before being diagnosed with cancer, her doctor recommended taking 1/2 a Gravol (Dramamine in the U.S.) to help her sleep.

Used occasionally, it has far less side effects than much more addictive prescription sleeping pills. Like anything though, I'm sure it can be habit-forming; which is not necessarily the same as addictive.
I do know that it is the number one abused drug in jail/prison infirmaries. Stockpile enough of them, and you can get super high!

After my dad died, my doctor prescribed me 1/2 tablets of one of the mildest prescription sleeping pills available. I only ever took 6 of those half tablets because I woke up waaaaay too fuzzy headed. I scarcely take any medications (except for my bladder meds), very few analgesics, no alcohol, and ZERO narcotics.

My daughter just took a picture of this turkey on this neighborhood lawn! I've never seen a turkey in a residential area here.

I've seen wild turkeys here. Sometimes, they're in fairly large flocks together. They like open spaces, so you'll see them in parks, open fields and sometimes in the larger parking lots. You can't approach them though, as they can be aggressive. :jawdrop:

My genius stepbrother tried cooking macaroni and cheese in the microwave but didn't put any water in it. It filled the house with the most awful smelling smoke.

Anyone for macaroni and cheese?

That's funny, but I have a better one for you. Back in the 90s, I worked for a company that decided to spiffy up the employee breakroom; and one thing they added was a microwave oven. At that time, we had a foreign visitor, and she didn't care for the building cafeteria downstairs, so she'd go to the grocery store nearby, and pick up a few things for her lunch. One day, she brought in 1/2 dozen eggs, took one out, and put the rest in the little refrigerator in the room. So, she takes a (raw) egg in the shell, and she put it in the microwave to cook it, because we didn't have a stove or hotplate in the breakroom. Of course, the egg explodes in the microwave, and we were all were laughing about that, and teasing her for the rest of her visit! ;)
