Ok guys, just got our tournament schedule..

First of all, I am SO EXCITED to finally be in a big tournament like this. The crazy soccer mom in me is probably even more excited than my kid, the one of us who’s actually playing... but, he is super excited too.

So, now for the “how the heck are we going to do this” part,

We have 7 days of sports this week. Also baseball game tomorrow and Friday afternoon- make up games. Combined with all of the normal practices - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

Saturday- 2 soccer games, 1 baseball game within an hour of second soccer game ending.
Sunday- 1 soccer game to start..possible second soccer game if we make it to the finals.

It will be an early bedtime for us on Friday.. and Saturday.

That is a hectic schedule most certainly. Good luck and I will pray that there will be good weather for T's games. :)

A sprinkler system pipe burst and flooded Level 9 in ankle deep water and the water got into 50 rooms. All the people were moved to empty rooms, handicapped rooms and spa suites. Those affected were refunded their cruise cost, given 50% off a future cruise and if they really wanted to fly home from Cozumel they could for free. Only 2 people did.

In six hours they fixed the pipe, got rid of the water and all the wet carpet. Passengers could return to their room or stay where they were relocated. I would stay in my spa suite! It was handled so well most of the cruisers never knew it happened.

Wow. They handled the issue really well it seems. You would think that that was something that happened all the time seeing how expedient they were with the repairs. I would also have decided to stay in a spa suite. Hard to go back when you've been up.;)

Thank you! I actually broke down and renewed our zoo membership a few days ago, wasn’t going to.. now I’m kind of regretting that I did.lol. Oh well, our schedules will slow down in a month and I’m sure we’ll be able to start going on outings again.

I think I’ve decided that T is not going to do any summer training with the club, if he makes the team for 18/19. He needs a break.
When I asked him if he wanted to commit to 6 weeks of 4 day per week soccer training this summer- he said - No, I want to take the summer off. I agree with him.
I think he’s better off if I just get a personal trainer for him on our time..he’ll be able to do more in less hours if it’s one on one. I’m hoping the club would be fine with that.

Baseball formally ends in late June, but then he’ll have his training to prepare for tryouts in August. I think besides those, I’m not even signing him up for sports camps. So far we have 2 museum camps, a zoo camp, an art & music camp, and the ‘away’ camp, I’m leaving some weeks open just in case he wants to do a specific sports camp, but I think it’s fine if he doesn’t.

You look really relaxed in that one. Normally when I read your TRs and you say you look like a stressed out spazz I'm like, nawwww. you look beautiful in those pictures. But I can see it now. You still look beautiful in your Disney pictures, but even on your stressful busy day you don't have your Disney Face on.

I think we’re just going to go ahead and get season tickets to FCC next year. Gotta get all the games that we can before MLS ticket prices knock me out most weekends.
