Not familiar with Spotify, but you can stream free but not d/l ? I ask, because I can d/l the album on Amazon Prime.
On your computer, you can stream any album for free, just with commercials. On your mobile device, you can stream the radio only. For a premium, you can download.

I've thought about getting Prime, since it's $50 for me as a student, but haven't done it yet...

I think Prime is a good value. Lots of free music, movies/tv series, kindle books, free shipping...and I think they just added photo hosting. But I have to pay $99 :arghh:

I had it free for a month and really only used the free shipping since I already have Netflix, so I pretty much decided against it.

I want my house to look like it's right out of the 1970's. I'm always on the lookout for vintage stuff from the 70's. Here's my latest purchase. I'll have to rewire it but I just had to have it.

Interesting. While the glass is typical of the 60s & 70s the hardware portion looks older. I'll have to take a few photo's of the two lamps I have, they are at least 75 years old though the shades have obviously been replaced. Next run downstairs and I'll snap a few pictures.

And there is something kinda disconcerting about a person my DDs age referring to my childhood years as a now Vintage era. But yes our music was superior but I never thought of that as vintage. :cyclops::cautious:;)

It's definitely considered vintage now. I've been having a lot of trouble finding certain furniture pieces. I've been looking for matching 70's end tables and coffee table for ages. I either find one end table or just the coffee table but I can't find a matching set. Something like this.

My Grandma said it looks like a light fixture she used to have. If she had known she would have a grandson that loved the 70's she would have saved all her 70's furniture.

Well you would love my wedding photos before the ceremony at my folks house. My Mom decorated in the 70s so it was still hanging around. Lawn green carpeting, the biggest comfy chair just shy of crayon orange and a beige and tan embroidered couch. The dining chairs were covered in black vinyl. The television was set into a wooden table-ish cabinet with doors that closed like a kitchen cabinet. Oh yeah, the chair and the couch had heavy custom made clear plastic covers on them that zipped shut. Fortunately those covers were gone before my wedding.

When my Little Sis graduated college almost all of it went. Woot! The big comfy chair still remains though it went to be reupholstered. The 70's dining table resides in the basement. My kids play table as they grew up visiting Gran.

EDIT: I guess I have to go find out what the other meaning that word for that type of 70s carpeting is that it got replaced with asterisks. :(

EDIT:  Boy, I can't keep up with slang in the US let alone the UK.

golly. Had I known you a few years ago, I could have given you a truck load of furniture. When my mom passed, we cleared her house and gave it all to Goodwill. I kept a couple of pieces for sentimental reasons but had no room for the rest.

I love looking at old family photos and seeing what the houses looked like. My grandparents had wall to wall burnt orange s h a g carpet. I'm hoping that will come back in style someday.
