I'm almost 10 years away from it. Sadly, on the other side.Unlike @figmentfan423 i am nowhere near 60. This coming Sunday i will be 17 years away from that magic number.

Amateurs. We have 2 sandwich shops within 20ft of each other, a Costa coffee 100 yards one way from them , and a greasy spoon cafe and a posh cafe 100yards the other way.
That airport is pretty big. I cant imagine how huge will it be once the expansion takes place.
Bigger than Forth Worth's?
or Houston's?
Is there any particular planning involved with Disneyland? Like, if my friend, who hates planning, is thinking of taking her two kids to Disneyland for a day in October when they're in town for a wedding, is there anything aside from checking on Halloween Party dates she'd need to do in advance?
That would be a good question to ask @ajrwdwgirl .
I'm not really up on all major U.S. airport sizes, but I do know that O'Hare is large and very, very busy. I think I only went through there once years ago (connecting flight--maybe to Vegas, at the time), and I recall that we were # 13 in line for take-off!(Yes, it was a little congested that day!)
Recently our Fuddruckers changed its menu. They offered quesadillas on their menu that you could customize at the topping bar. It was really cheap as well. It was under $6 when you just got a cheese and it was huge. Littlest dd and I would share. Anyway one day back late last fall it was gone. All I had to choose from was a grilled cheese or a veggie burger, and the veggie burgers are the frozen kind that I don't really like. Well we hadn't been in in 4 months so we went the other day cause the kids were begging. We bumped into one of the workers we knew (because we had been regulars). She asked what happened to us and we explained that since the quesadilla was gone, we just didn't have an urge to go as much. She said that she used to eat them and a lot of people came in to eat them as well. She said it was corporates decision. They are based in TX. Well you would think that a quesadilla would be a good thing in TX. Apparently they didn't sell well in TX, so they decided to remove it. She said they sold pretty well up here in the Northeast. She swears they lost a lot of customers because the quesadilla and the baked beans were removed.
Sometimes the best way to do Disney. Just go with the flow...![]()
Sure, but the question is can I even use it? We are planning to go to the beach. It is a more relaxing vacation than Disney for dh. HS will be packed with everyone wanting to go to TS land. Our AP's expire before then and I wasn't sure if we were going to renew. I was thinking of skipping next Flower and Garden and going after SW land opens. Of course it will be nuts then as well. In any case 49 days until we leave.![]()

That is my least favorite airport in the US. MIA a close second.. but O’Hare is THE WORST!!
The problem with that is the wisdom you have tells you that the end is near. With age comes wisdom. Every age group has something to be happy about.![]()

That’s trueHee, hee . . . that's how I always approach it! (But in fairness to those who travel with groups, family, etc., I understand that some preparation is probably prudent. It's much easier to just wing it when you're going solo to the parks.)![]()
I should have bought the deluxe bluray booooo...
Not transferrable. It is tied to your last name and zip code. Dh actually offered to go there instead of the beach. The hotel would be cheaper, but we would have to purchase tickets which is the expensive part.Just curious -- are the pin codes transferable? If you couldn't use it, could you maybe give it to another family that might be going during the dates specified? I know nothing about pin codes, and don't know if they are tied exactly to the person's name/address, etc.
