I really need a nap.. havent sleep well.
seems I have sores in my troath due of coughing so much.
so.. 4 days of barely any sleep due of coughing.
but now got medicine for the itchiness on the throat... wish me luck D:

You might not have sores in your throat; my guess is that you have inflamed tissue from the coughing. Have you tried gargllng with maybe 1/2 teaspoon of salt, mixed in a cup of warm water? It can help reduce the swelling and relieve discomfort. It's one of the oldest remedies, and it can be very helpful. I hope you feel better soon. You've had a rough time since you came home from the Cochlear Convention at WDW.

Good thing.

If it weren't locked, I would have had something to say about the last post about cigarettes not causing asthma. Yeah. Try telling that to my lungs when I get a whiff of it.

People were showing their stupidity on that thread. :banghead:
I agree. I came this >< close to asking for a citation of that post, but decided to just continue to stay out of the war.

A lot of people have seemed to come back sick from WDW. Is it the airplane ride or something there?

Meanwhile, back in MA, there's been over 153 roof collapses from the weight of snow & ice, in the past 4 weeks.

A third horse barn collapsed today; all horses were led out (some had to be tranquilized from the fear, but were led out by vets and rescue personnel, with only minor injuries to the horses). It's also amazing with these 3 barns, that none of the horse handlers were inside feeding the horses, etc. when the roofs caved in. It could have been worse.

Also, a day ago, the ceiling of an ice rink was making odd noises, and the hockey coaches yelled for all the skaters to get out. Within minutes, the ceiling came crashing down with such force, that the pressure blew out the wall on an opposite side of the building. Thanks goodness for the quick thinking of those coaches; there were quite a few young boys around the age of 10 in there, who were at the rink for hockey practice.

It's like Chicken Little lately around here--the sky is falling!!

I'll bet he was a wonderful man, but he had the worst taste! Grape jelly on fried eggs??!!!
Yea he was unique and quite special. He died when I was two and my parents said I loved him. They said I did not like being held and would cry but he kinda just sat me on his lap and I was happy. He was a truck driver and the rules he taught my Dad for driving long distances I always remember as I take my kids on road trips.

YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lived here all my life and never seen anything like this. This winter, It's because of the very close timing of some major snowstorms that so much snow built up; it was tough for most people to keep up with it. And it's not just the flat roofs having the problems; a number of the pitched roofs (with enough snow on them) have also had issues for the first time.

The ice rink collapse made it to the news here - pictures and all! Those coaches sure saved the day!

I just say that poster has been blessed with good lungs and I hope he never has to find out what it feels like to not be able to breathe.
