I have a bad cold. I woke up this morning coughing and struggling to breathe so made an appointment to see the Dr. £51 later there is nothing that she can do for me and my lungs are clear as a whistle. All i can do is just let it run it's course and not die.
Oh dear . . . I was afraid of that, when you first showed us the photo a few days ago. Hope it will heal properly for you. (Lovely finger sweater, by the way.)![]()
And you as well sir.Sympathy like.
Get well soon!!!
I wonder how much they end up finding....that can't be the only card that he had used, and if there were several people with him, how many of them also had stolen cards, etc? It just said they were looking into where they had been before checking in at Disney, etc. And was it just the one guy they arrested or did they hold the others, just in case? Did they know he was using a stolen card? So many questions!!!The like is because the authorities caught thieves..
I couldn't read the link--well, I could open it, but then it asked for a login or something, and I'm not a member of that--so couldn't see what the article was about.
And you as well sir.
I have sunday monday off but am at work today![]()
I saw a story once about a father who beat a man almost to death because he walked in on the guy raping his young daughter. I don't remember if he called the police or if someone heard the commotion, but the police arrived and had to peel the father off the guy, who was near death. But they considered it self defense under the circumstances, so it was good that the guy didn't die, because that wouldn't have flown, I guess. I can only imagine what that's like. I was ready to deck the boys who had DS pinned against the wall, shaking him, and they were only 10 year olds. If it was a grown man, I don't know that I could have held back. I ripped the boys off DS and I shouted at them, but what I really wanted to do was shake THEM against the wall to see how it felt. There is very little reason involved in your reaction when one of your loved ones has been attacked/hurt. I'm glad the judge didn't charge this father.Although not as extreme as what this guy did, this reminds me a bit of the story from yesterday, about the father of the 3 gymnasts--when he tried to tackle the offender in court. Completely understand his actions. I saw on the news today that he apologized to the court, etc., and the judge did not charge him, due to the emotional circumstances. (Thank goodness . . .)
I think you need some hot and sour soup![]()
Well @Mr Ferret 88 , the EmergenC is just basically 1000mg of Vit C, so you can just get that from your local pharmacist.
