That's what we're thinking. My car is parked front end in towards grass, no curb. No way I was hit or I hit a curb or anything. I think it must've come loose as I was driving home because I would have noticed walking up to it, but didn't look at it after driving home.
Could someone have tried to sit on the bumper? Like....they are smoking a cigarrette and want a place to park it, so they pick out a car and use the bumper as a foot rest or a seat? I can't imagine it just coming off for no reason.

Well, I'm supposed to have a couple during my lunch break tomorrow. Ironically.

Just can't pull the trigger until I know for sure what's going on with work. My supervisor and boss both want to convert me to an employee of the company (currently I'm on a contract) so it's working with the powers that be on that. Namely HR. Met with HR today though, and it went well.

That's prudent financial planning on your part. Let's hope for a great outcome for you.

It's Friday. My husband comes home from an insanely long business trip tomorrow. We also have Disney on Ice tickets for tomorrow. And this weekend I'm sure will fly by and then it will be February :jawdrop:

February is my daughter's birthday month. My little tiny baby is turning three :cry:

Oh, that sounds like fun, and I'm sure your daughter will love Disney on Ice. Should be entertaining for your hubs, too, after a long business trip, to just go to a cute family show and unwind with you and your daughter.

Speaking of your daughter, that's exciting that she'll be turning 3 in February. (P.S.: All the cool kids have a birthday in February. ;) I know this for a fact. )

So, I guess the Garden Rocks concerts, during the International Flower and Garden Festival at EPCOT, are probably not for you. To each his/her own, I guess.

Yet, many of the stars still put on a great show for their audience. I've seen a number of these shows down through the years.

There's a cross section (all ages) of guests visiting WDW who enjoy the rock groups from that era, and I haven't noticed any of them in the audience wearing clothing styles from years ago, and the majority of them are not out of shape, either.
I liked when it was Flower Power. I remember the first few times we went in the early 2000's the band Orleans played when we were there. I think we managed to get them 3 years in a row. I had remembered those songs from when I was a little kid and it brought back good memories. I was sad when they know longer were on the roster of bands. I did end up putting up a whole bunch of their songs on my phone from Google Play.

I was hoping that you folks would allow me to be a little meloncoly tonight. I was listening to Pandora Radio a few minutes ago and they played a song that I hadn't heard in 50 years. It not only hit me with a flood of memories from back then, but, also instituted a few newer ones as well.

A little background... My father was an avid Barbershop Singing fan. He ate, and slept Barbershopping. He had persuaded me to get into it as well and was the youngest member of the organization ever, at that time. 12 years old if I remember correctly. Anyway, there was never a time in our house when there weren't quartets practicing or records playing. One of the favorites, I believe I have mentioned before, they were the quartet that was on Broadway and in the Movie, The Music Man. I think I have mentioned them before. One of the songs that they recorded was one of my favorite songs called "Remembering Time" and the biggest memory that came back to me was when I went into the Air Force. Basic Training at Amarillo, Texas. I was known for the fact that I was always singing something, mostly to myself, but, in the evening I would sit in the barracks surrounded by a group of lonesome, homesick, scared young men who had spent the day being belittled, maligned and insulted, run ragged and generally abused and sing that song. The more I type this, the more I realize that my early life was a sappy, B movie. I remember looking around and seeing men 18 and above with tears in there eyes. It might have been because I sang so bad, but, I prefer to think that it was because of the song and the lyrics. This is it. I won't mention it again, but, I just needed to not be dead on the inside for a few minutes... I'll be back to normal soon. I hope you enjoy this song as much as I did.

Beautiful song. Early morning tears. Ugh, I hate being sappy so early in the morning, but I can see how this song would have fit perfectly with the early adulthood that you and other young men then had. Our kids today don't realize how easy they have it for the most part. Thank you for sharing.

That's my generation and I see many of us out of shape.

This was a cruise targeting Boomers. They had contests for best dressed hippie and stuff like that. I'm not going back to those days any more than I'm going back to 70s leisure suits and 80s big hair.
Don't mock the big hair!;) Truth be told, I didn't have the big hair, just a bob in the late 80's. :p

I teased and sprayed my hair back in the 60s. We had a nice Sunday afternoon drive over to Miami Beach to have lunch with some friends of my parents. In my dad's mustang convertible with the top down. I wasn't wearing a head scarf. Last time I teased and sprayed my hair.

He won't be home yet :( His plane lands around the time we'll be driving home from Disney on Ice.

A bit of a parenting fail for her party: six months ago I booked this really great indoor play place with a rock climbing wall and a huge play structure with a bunch of tunnel slides. Two weeks ago, though, I started feeling really guilty because she is still terrified of those play structures, so I was planning her party at a place she was scared of. But it was only $75 for 2.5 hours, so I didn't want to give it up, LOL. After a few sleepless nights, I finally cancelled the party at the play place, and booked her a pool party instead at this neat indoor pool that has water slides and a kids play area. Now she's super excited about her party. But my poor wallet is crying.

The car is parked in the back of the building. Not very many people coming by unless they work there.

The only thing we can figure is that there's some screws that have gone bad or gotten coroded. It does sit outside, and it's been in an accident where the entire front bumper had to be replaced.

Time passes by quickly when you have kids. Wait til your little one starts losing those tiny baby teeth, and then starts to drive. My youngest dd is about to lose her third tooth, and oldest dd is going to start driving soon.:eek::eek:

Yes for the under 10 set but for those of us the cool kids have their birthday around the first weekend in March. Just as @Mr Ferret 88
