I need some help. What's included on a cruise. I may be able to guilt er um loving suggest one to my dh into one if he goes back on nights. I would look into a last minute deal out of NY. That's if he can get some time off when James can't. If they can both get time off at the same time we're going to try and drive down to DC and drive back the long way through Hershey

Got up to go to the bathroom and accidentally smashed my pinkey finger into the bathroom door jamb. Pain. May need to visit a doc tomorrow... :cyclops:

Oh dear! Take care of that boo boo!!! (Hope you had some aspirin in the house to reduce inflammation, in the interim, before seeing the doctor.)

Not sure if putting it off for 2 days is o.k. though--I know you're busy at work, but could you maybe add some time at the end of today to catch up, and go to the dr. before work this morning? I don't know much about finger injuries, but if you needed it set (if it was broken), getting it done sooner may be better than trying to get it done later on--which may or may not have the same result. Hope it's not too bad of an injury.

Thank you sir. You were an inspiration.

Normaly pretty much everything onboard the ship except booze. May vary from company to company.

It depends on the cruise, honestly. But usually it includes a lot of relaxing and pool time, all the food you can eat (but not from the fancy restaurants), fun shows, a casino, and most cruises offer vouchers when you book them. Like when I booked mine I got free booze vouchers.

@dryerlintfan you might find some inspiration for modifying your pop up here

The camper, for me, is more of a replacement of the tent, rather than a "second home". I still very much want to feel like I'm camping. I'll cull through this, but we will are focusing more on mods that will make things more organized and flow better, not ones that will turn it into a little cottage.

So like, storage solutions, making one bed permanent (adds more storage and is less work overall), stuff like that. Like a tent that protects us better from the elements and is easier to set up. We're not going to install a TV or anything. Thank you though!!

Depends on the cruise line. But food, booze, and more food. 😁 DCL provides all beverages except for alcohol. But they let you bring two 750ml wine bottles per passenger on board. I believe others have some type of drink package you can purchase. All cruises should have onboard activities - rock climbing, golf, basketball, stuff like that. And bars/nightclubs. If you want to gamble, don't do Disney. But Disney has activity centers for kids up through teens - so you can dump the annoying 14 year old and go take that mixology or wine tasting class, lol.

I'd check to see who cruises out of NYC and go from there.

We love cruising. Very relaxing way to travel.

And that is why we put the child safe door guards on our when the kids were little. :) But seriously, ouch!!! If it didn't turn blue it hopefully does not have a break. But considering what you do for a living and need your hands, looks to be the right, I would have it looked at.

@dryerlintfan We purchased 5 AP's this way. Parksavers had an amazing ticket discount offered for waterparks and more tickets back in 2016. I couldn't pass them up so I got 5. Dh had an AP. Then when we went in May, about half way through the trip, we upgraded the other 5 to AP's. We were able to keep the discount when we upgraded since we already had used the tickets. If you upgrade before you use the tickets then you have to pay the difference between the full AP and what would have been a full price original ticket. Doing it this way you will get the AP for even less then buying it straight through Disney. Plus this kind of acts like a payment plan, in that you pay in 2 parts. For us with getting 5 at once that helps. Plus I used our Disney Visa points to pay the balance. :)

Almost everything. The question is more what isn't on a cruise. And what specific are you looking for. Each company varies.

The biggest problem you may have is finding vegan food. I was full vegan when we took our Disney cruise in 2015. There were some options, but not a ton. Your family would for sure enjoy all the food. Dh didn't enjoy the cruise though, but for Castaway Cay. He felt like there were too many people onboard and there was no room to breathe. We had one of the bigger rooms, I think it was an 8a cabin. They have way more room than a regular family cabin and sleep 4. We had 2 rooms which increases the price considerably. I say the Disney cruises are more affordable when there are 5 or less people in one group, so that you only need the one room. Nonetheless, many of the other cruise lines are cheaper. Dh also didn't like the sit down dinners. He would have preferred the choice of a buffet for every meal.

I think it is very cute. Definitely not for a family of 6, but for your small family it seems perfect. It is a great price too! I would totally get that if I still had a tiny family and wanted to take a lot of Disney trips. Way more affordable than DVC and you own it. That cost of that camper is like two 7 day stays at a deluxe.

That moment when Bohemian Rhapsody plays on the radio and your co-worker says
"This is David Bowie isn't it "
I had the same feeling when one of the other moms from the cheer team my kid is on didn't know who Olivia Newton John was. I am the oldest mom from the "mini" team, and none of them know it. I age pretty well.;) They all think I am in my 30's as well. :pWho am I to correct them?;)
