Thank you! You're very kind!

She does age appropriate chores (empty dishwasher, set the table, help cook, pick up toys, feed the dogs, clean up messes, etc. And she's the world's worst sweeper but she tries).

I don't want her to be deprived, but I do want her to understand that some people don't have it as good as we do. And if we want to keep having it this good, all three of us need to continue to work hard. She's clearly a Disney princess..... I want her to be a Tiana, not a Charlotte (Lottie).

Giving her everything her little heart desires will make her a Lottie. I'm hoping this allowance concept will be a happy medium for us. She can still get everything she wants, but she'll have to save for it (learning valuable money skills in the process)
You let a preschooler empty a dishwasher? You have a lot of faith in her unless the dishes are all plastic. ;)

Days like that ruin my schedule. Hope you are feeling okay.
Thanks. I believe I had withdrawals from my allergy meds. At least, that is what we have come up with. I usually take it at bedtime. Well, I forgot it Sun then decided to try it on a different schedule and start at breakfast today. Apparently, my body did not like that. I woke early with itchy skin, fast heartbeat, chills, and bad shakes. I got up and ate then took my meds. About an hour no more symptoms, and I was feeling much better. Scared me to death though! I googled and it is a thing. Had no idea. I haven’t been on it this long before. I usually just take it seasonally.

Definitely understand that, but based on who her parents are, it sounds like she's in no danger of that. I wouldn't worry too much about spoiling her. I mean, you're already having her help you with dishes. She's in no danger of being a Lottie.

BTW: six princess costumes from WDW, the monorail set, a Test Track racecar set, a dozen and a half Barbies, along with furniture and the convertible, an air hockey table, a foosball table, a remote control Test Track car, a room themed entirely to Disney princesses, complete with the artwork, twice a year trips to Disney, have never been without a WDW AP since age 3, two dozen plus stuffed elephants, including about a dozen Dumbos...you are not the only parent doing a tad bit of spoiling. And tempered with some responsibility, it's not a bad thing. Just makes for an awesome childhood. 😉

If you want to read about a parent who is probably raising a Lottie, read this.

FYI, it ain't you.

:hilarious::hilarious: truth. So far she's only broken dishes when she's helped clean up the table. If there're no dishes in the sink, the ones she puts *ahem throws ahem* in break when they hit the sink bottom. She grabs the glasses and plates and whatnot from the dishwasher and hands them to us to put in the cupboard so when she's helping with the dishwasher she's only taking the dishes 3-6 feet.

Oh!! And the dogs LOVE when she helps clean the table because she almost always drops food on the way to the trash :hilarious::hilarious:

Hubs was cleared by the Dr. and walked out without the boot! He brought his right tennis shoe with him to the appointment. When the nurse saw him holding his shoe she teased him about being optimistic! He is walking gingerly because he is just a little scared still but I'm sure he will be normal, or at least walking normal by tomorrow.

After the appointment we went to a British pub to celebrate. He still wanted me to drive home because he hasn't driven since October 30th and the road were still fairly slushy with yesterday's snow. So we didn't celebrate with too many adult beverages! ;) He does have a church meeting tonight and was pretty excited to drive himself there, just like a kid with a new driver's license.

Aaaah Katiebug, her complain is legendary. So funny!

Never seen such a person in a gigantic pedestal (high horse) claiming expertise and then failing at that in every single situation.

"unmagical!"
What I loved was how each one of her kids was referred to as "prince" or "princess" and she somehow thought the CMs were responsible for catering to her children and hers only...

And that's how you actually create brats as a parent.

I also loved how she claimed to be a travel agent and had been to MK yet had no idea that you park at TTC? Like, what? Everyone pretty much knows that. They couldn't put the parking lot on the moat now could they?

Exactly!

I sometimes wonder if it was a true person or a masterful troll trying to scramble all the horrible persons and mixing into an imaginary person named katiebug.

Congrats!! Glad he is getting back to normal.
