@Goofyernmost Just saw on Facebook that where my relatives live in South Carolina is expected to get an inch of snow. They've already shut down schools for tomorrow.
Snow down here is different. They do not know how to drive in it. They do not have enough equipment to clean it up so going to school is a real and present threat to the safety of the students. However, here all it was is cold air, and not even that cold. An inch of snow here in North Carolina will shut everything down too. And it will stay shut down until the sun melts the snow. I cannot image the amount of lost revenue that is caused by this reaction.

On Saturday I visited Den Bosch, the city I was born in.
I ate a Bosche Bol which is a large profiterole filled with sweetened cream and topped with chocolate ganache.

With a very full tummy I walked to the market, as long as I can remember the town has had a market on Wednesday mornings and all day Saturday. The flower stalls are my favorite as I love the smell.
You can also buy fruit and vegs, fabric, cheese, meat, fish and an assortment of other things.

My next stop was the St.Jan cathedral.

Sounds good but then you have to factor in earthquakes, fires, and mudslides. Aside ftom mostly ok weather, that state is a disaster. The high taxes kind of suck too.

Which ship on that line is good? I heard it is super crowded.
Personally we like the Jade as it is big enough to offer everything we want but not so massive it takes a week to figure out where everything is. For our next cruise we have booked The Breakaway, it is big but hopefully we will like it.

The market is wonderful for people on a budget as especially the fruit and vegs are much cheaper than in supermarkets.

Consolation Prize can go to Cali. Don’t believe any state is as messed up as Illinois. Last two governors jailed. High state tax rate Cali can be a runner up. :cyclops:

I saw someone in my aunt's apartment complex wearing a winter coat when it was 65 degrees out. I'm wondering how any of them are even functioning right now.

They don't function very well. But, at least they do have cold weather clothing. They may use it sooner then we would, but, they are prepared. They just don't stay outside for very long and the golf courses take it on the chin. I like to play when it is cool, but, not this cool. Most around here never go to the course until the hottest part of the day, and that is something I cannot understand at all. My confession though is that the longer I stay here the weaker my ability to not be phased by cold air. I have noticed that every year since I moved here it has seemed that I grab a jacket way sooner then I once did.
