Oh my I'm glad that was the worst of it for your daughter, what did the neighbors say? Or don't they know it hit her? I hope your illness improves.
Nope, they have no idea it hit her. It's not like they could control it, and as long as she wasn't seriously injured, we have no reason to go to them. If she had required medical attention, we'd for sure let them know. But she's fine...just bruised and ouchy.

I saw this picture on Facebook, when I read your post I thought it would be helpful to you.

Thank you. This is great. Eventually, I'll experiment more with it. Nothing in cooking (especially a new appliance) comes easily to me. To put it in teacher-ease, I must be a remedial cooking student?! o_O :D

Want to go to Key West. We can leave from Florida. I saw the Victory goes there, but I don't know anything about the ship. It is so hard to find reviews.
Have you looked on www.cruisecritic.com?
I find that site very helpful for information about the ships and the ports. Personally I prefer cruising with Norwegian as I like their Freestyle set up. I did one Carnival cruise which was nice enough but I disliked the assigned seating times for dinner.

I am sorry your daughter got hurt, that was bad luck. I hope the bruise will fade soon.

My new year's eve was a good one, I went out to dinner to an all you can eat Japanese restaurant and spend the rest of the evening at my sister's apartment with some of my family. I was the designated driver so no drinking for me but I can easily have fun without.
Just before midnight my nephew said he wasn't feeling well and at exactly 12 o'clock he vomited in a chip bowl his dad was holding. We all felt bad for the little guy but at the same time it was a funny way to start the new year.
At about 1 am it was save to drive again so I drove my brother and his family home. I was a little but nervous as there were still some teenage boys shooting off fireworks. Not the pretty kind just the kind that pop and they often throw them on the road but I had no problems driving.
