Ha! I can relate to that--on New Year's Eve, I'm usually asleep by 9:00--I'm useless!! (Hubs and I "toast" New Year's to each other at early dinner that night, because he knows I won't be up at midnight.) ;)
Sounds like my typical New Year's. Not a fan. I just want to wake up the next morning and forget that I have to start another year on the check book.

I don't like beer, but I do like pretty label on the glass and I also like the stemmed, Christmas glass you have! :)

I know the glass is a wine glass, but I thought it would be festive for my 12 beers.

Some day . . . and I'm not a "mall" fan in general, but that outstanding one certainly looks like something to see!!! (Placing on the bucket list . . .) ;)

Very pretty. I like the angel ornament in particular. Merry Christmas to you and hubby. (I'm sure he'll be glad once he can walk normally again.) :)

If you ever do make it to the Mall of America let me know I'd love to show you around the area. And just so you know Jet Blue is going to start a Boston to MSP route soon!

I like the angel ornament a lot too, it was one of the last ornaments my Mom gave me.

I don't plan on staying up this year until midnight either. We are going to watch the NYE fireworks on the live-stream of the Disney Parks blog and then I plan on going to bed.

We can use a small dose of pixie dust here. Winter weather advisories have been posted from our house to where we're supposed to travel. I have a roast and all the fixings just incase so we'll be fine here no matter what but I did want my boys and my dh to get to that side of the family tomorrow. getting them next weekend will do in a pinch dh has Friday off:cautious:

If you have to drive just be careful!:)

Hubs and I took our annual Christmas trip to the Mall of America today. It opened at 8 we were there at 7:15 am and some breakfast places were open so it was Tim hortons coffee and Cinnabons for breakfast. It wasn't too crowded until we left at noon which was good for hubs, he didn't want to drive his knee scooter in a lot of crowds.

Here's some pictures from the day

It was a great morning!
I was reading an article that was on-line just the other day and it was listing the top 10 foolish and useless tourist traps. One of them was the Mall of America. It was on the list because the author felt that you can put all the carnival rides that you want in there, at the end of the day it is still just a mall. I don't know as I have never been there, but, as I read down through the list one of the biggest tourist traps was Epcot. Why, they said, would anyone pay that much money to go to a place that is nothing more then a place to eat and get drunk when there were other much better theme parks like DHS and Animal Kingdom to choose.

So based on that evaluation alone I was instantly persuaded to feel that the credibility of this particular "critic" was not worth the gunpowder to blow him to hell.

We have a fine dusting in some parts of the grass, but not much. Supposedly there is a storm moving in today and we might get between 2-4”, so we might have a white Christmas! :)

What level did you stay on? We're staying on the Lido Deck. :)

Cool, our Lido Deck was deck 9. :)
We were on deck 6, aft cabin with a veranda.
It was a looooong walk to the Ivanhoe Theater at the front of the ship...!!!!! :hilarious:
Which, normally wouldn't be a problem, but, a new friend has showed up, and has been hanging with me for a coupla' weeks now...not gout, but, like @Goofyernmost, sciatica. It goes from mild irritation, to pain, to PAIN, to a flat-out burn and numbness...!!!!!!!!!!! :in pain:
Luckily, it got better as the cruise went along, but, it's been worse since we got home and I've been chillin' too much. I think I may have slept about 3 total hours last night...
Note to self...keep moving..... :cyclops:

Anyhoo...
When is y'all's next cruise? :)
