We really haven't been in a festive spirit and haven't even decorated or put up a tree. Roll on 2018.
What she saidThat sounds good and very easy. Enjoy.
So here's how my birthday went yesterday. We ordered pizza from my favorite local place, my mom visited and she and my daughter got me a new George Foreman. (I see steak in my future! )
I was so tired from getting everything ready for today I was asleep by 7. What a party animal I've become.
We can use a small dose of pixie dust here. Winter weather advisories have been posted from our house to where we're supposed to travel. I have a roast and all the fixings just incase so we'll be fine here no matter what but I did want my boys and my dh to get to that side of the family tomorrow. getting them next weekend will do in a pinch dh has Friday off
What level did you stay on? We're staying on the Lido Deck. So, I forgot to mention, it was 74 in Galveston when we got off the boat...40 here in Austin when we got home. It's 38 in our hood right now.
@MinnieM123 ...!!!!!!!!!!!
Snow doesn't scare me, I hate it but can get around in it. It's the ice that may keep us at home.We still have ice here, but hoping some of that will melt today. I'm not going out to church this morning due to the ice. At least we're getting about 4 inches of snow overnight--that's fine, as you can easily get around in snow. Ice, not so much . . .
So we eat out Christmas Eve and Christmas Dinner. But everyone is off for the week. Today I was ambitious.
One spiral ham baked
BBQ meat balls
2 large chickens deboned shredded

Green jello
My grandmas mayo potato salad
Fresh baked beans

Nobody best ask what’s to eat until after New Years
Today's 80s video

Thank you! Do I have to share?Forgot to say Happy Birthday (yesterday) to you. Here are some cupcakes for you today.
Ummm... yeah, that was one corner.Wow. I like the brightly colored lights. But most of all, I can't get over how neat your room is. (Ours is sort of cluttered . . . even without the tree . . . )
Hope that 2018 will bring you and Mrs. Ferret more merry.Breakfast of croissants and Kona coffee. Then off to the brother in laws for the main meal. Hassle free christmas for us.

Ha! I can relate to that--on New Year's Eve, I'm usually asleep by 9:00--I'm useless!! (Hubs and I "toast" New Year's to each other at early dinner that night, because he knows I won't be up at midnight.)
Thank you! Do I have to share?
Sounds like a great day! The bakery case looked delicious. How was the cookie? I always wonder about quality when places franchise out. Your tree is beautiful. Have a Merry Christmas! I know it will be quiet.
Merry Christmas to all of my Chit Chat friends.
