We could leave a day earlier but we've never been to Atlanta and since I've only arranged for a 1/2 day on Wed. and a full day on Thurs....if we leave Thurs. to beat the snow it will be really disappointing.
If we stay an extra day and come back to NJ on Sat. instead of Fri. I wonder how the roads and traffic will be if the forecast was for snow all day Fri. and snow showers Sat. morning transitioning to clearing skies?
Hmm.....decisions , decisions

My decision would be to stay home, but I'm sure many would disagree and just say to go anyway.

Sympathy like. It was that way here for a while until during one storm many people wound up trapped in their cars, that was the end of that.

Our roads up here stay open most of the time. What will shut down (parts) of a highway would be if dangerous squalls moved in, or if icing got out of control. Other than that, in New England, we have serious snow removal equipment and salters.

Just checking in before my performance tonight. Thank God for hubby...he went to the store and got everything I need and made dinner for me to take along since I won't have time to go anywhere to eat there. He made the photocopies of the music I needed for someone and he did it all while I was getting ready and learning the last piece of music that was added LAST NIGHT, so I didn't stress out trying to get everything done myself. He's so sweet!! I was freaking out about the new music....I'm new, so I hadn't learned that bit yet, and everyone else knows it. I'd look like an idiot if I didn't know it, so I spent the morning cramming to learn it, and then I had to get ready. We have to be there early for a sound check...hopefully we don't spend the whole rehearsal time figuring out headset mics like last night.

Yes but 95% of New Englanders drive like sh*t. And we may have the equipment but they don't know how to use it and when.

no dirty talk, please
