I laughed myself silly when ATL shut down for an inch of snow.:hilarious:
I have been down here for two (what they call storms) One was legit considering they have no real large number of snow removal equipment. That was 10 inches the day after Christmas in 2010. The next biggest was about 2 1/2 inches in 2014 and everything was closed for a week, schools, stores, businesses... all movement stopped. Since the first one wasn't during a normal school week and everyone was home anyway, but, the next day the temperatures the day after that one went up to 70 and stayed there, so the snow was gone in three days. Heck, it's 73 degrees here as we speak.

Yes but 95% of New Englanders drive like sh*t. And we may have the equipment but they don't know how to use it and when.

no dirty talk, please

Agreed, so many lousey drivers out there--if they'd stop looking at their stupid phones, it might be safer. Butt there are also some very good drivers as well. It does seem like the lousey ones are increasing, but again, I blame phones and texting while driving for some of that.

I completely disagree about the equipment though. Our road crews in MA, NH, VT and Maine are right on top of things, and do an outstanding job, in some really tough storms. I really like the tiered convoy approach the big plow rigs are using on the highways (Maine has been doing that for many years up on the Pike, and other states here are following suit).

Forgot to post my tree.

Your tree has quite the variety of ornaments, and I like how you put candy canes on the branches. I think it's always fun to see how people decorate their tree--it's amazing how many variations on a theme are out there!

They probably look a bit bigger because of the angle, but they're the normal size you'd see in stores :)

Not gonna' do a formal TR (and, darn, I just had a good looooong nap ), but, I'll just post some silliness from time to time (and tons of food pics :hungry:) in the next several days...

Somehow, I look like I'm directing a Star Wars movie in this pic...I, literally, have no clue where the Jawa-looking person behind me came from... :cyclops:

And, does this look like a guy that wants to get off a cruise ship...?!
I think NOT...!!!!!!! :hilarious:

Hubs and I took our annual Christmas trip to the Mall of America today. It opened at 8 we were there at 7:15 am and some breakfast places were open so it was Tim hortons coffee and Cinnabons for breakfast. It wasn't too crowded until we left at noon which was good for hubs, he didn't want to drive his knee scooter in a lot of crowds.

Here's some pictures from the day
IMG_1091.JPG

There is a new cookie dough store, so yes this a bowl of dough. It was great.
IMG_1094.JPG

The cake boss has a new bakery there we bought stuff for later

We ate lunch at a place called Crave
