Went out to lunch with one of my friends. She had said she wanted to go to WDW in February at the same time as us, but then stuff happened, including her WDW roommate dropping out. I told her she was more than welcome to tag along with us (she doesn't have family in this area and has sort of used mine as a surrogate kind of family, so it's actually not uncomfortable to be hanging around my family for us). But she didn't book it and didn't say anything to me, so I just assumed it wasn't happening.

Then today: "Oh, yeah, I still want to go, I'm booking it on Friday." :jawdrop: I'm glad she can come because I've been dying to take her around, but this should be fun ADR and FP wise...o_O Thankfully my dad had a BOG one he was going to let me use and I just looked and he still has it. Thank. Goodness.

We were missing several FPs and checked many times a day until we could find the ones we wanted at the correct time including flight of passage. It is pretty easy to find a single FP for most attractions with the 80 minute window of what a FP stretches for.

Over the years we've had to add in DS to ADRs. The concierge at the resort ALWAYS just added a person for us or if they were a more reasonable restaurant unlike Prime Time or Boatright staff (grrr) they'd tell us to add one when checking in with host staff. Sometimes we'd have to wait a few more minutes and once we had to say the concierge at resort OK'd it but we were never turned away. My bet is your Dad is a convincing gentleman. ;)

Finished my Christmas cards!! Finally.:) My hand hurts.:D

About 15 years ago I stopped sending Christmas Cards. Between my business being on overload at the holidays and all the merriment of the month plus shopping, wrapping and cooking....I let Cards go. Now a smaller demographic I send Happy New Year cards too.

Curious though. What do you folks do with all those family photo Christmas Cards? Yeah I like seeing most but really don't want to keep them...but the guilt of throwing pictures in the trash...so what do you do with those?

This drives me nuts about my friends on a regular basis. Most of them are so indecisive about everything. I'm very much the type A personality of "Make a plan, tell me what it is, stick to it." I don't like indecision. I don't like not planning. I don't see how anyone can go through life like that.

That, and I will make this an age thing here, but so many people my age have no clue how to manage money, with the exception of those of us who went to college for business. It drives me crazy when I have to explain to my friends why no, they should not use their debit cards everywhere, and no, if you use PayPal credit and pay off that airline ticket in 6 months with no interest, it will not hurt your credit...but how can you fault them when we were never taught this stuff in school? That was part of the issue with my friend, trying to manage her money and get it together before the trip was an issue.

My DD is your clone. My DS is not. She wasn't a business major, mathematics and statistics. Oddly my DS has to build multi-million dollar budgets from Capital to 250 employees he has. So the all the above works in his professional life. Planning for personal life...he delegates, he is really an easy going go with the flow type.

One of our dogs licks the silverware when I load it. Very annoying.

Walter Just stood ontop of the open door and shoved his head into the dishwasher to look for the most appealing stuff.
He wasn't a fan of the top third rack drawer addition when I got a new dishwasher. That was where all the good stuff laid flat, spatulas, mixing spoons etc. The real gunky stuff.

Good, beautiful, exciting, ahhhh . . .

Or, we could also go this route--very Currier and Ives, or very Thomas Kinkade . . . :inlove:

Sorry, the snowless Kinkades are far more beautiful.
