Cage with no view!
Sympathy like for DonnaToo late -- he's already out and running around, and enjoying mischief wherever he can find it.
Gotta give @Mr Ferret 88 points for breaking out of the cage all the time! He's quite entertaining.![]()
See...I love how pretty the snow is...I just wish the cold didn't come with it. And I wish it was restricted to non-traffic areas. You should see DD's knees after falling off her bike Monday. We teased her that first she had a huge bruise on her leg because her leg fell through the trampoline spring edge at Skyzone where we had DS's birthday party (poor girl is as accident prone as her mother). It finally started to fade (I should have taken pictures...) and then she fell off her bike on the ice. DH told her she was just renewing the bruises since the one was fading. He asked her what she'll do to get new ones when these fade. And I think it's possible she sprained her wrist when she fell too. So, while snow is all pretty and fun when it lies there on the ground in areas where no one can get hurt, it is really not conducive to short-distance travel for the coordinationally-challenged.indeed they are all jealous. Hrmmm....I'm thinking throwing yourself down the stairs to break your own ankle might be considered a bit extreme...we'll think on it. We have a whole year, right?
How about alternating every other year--one year at home with your sister, and the other other year with hubs' family? Seems like a fair compromise to me. His family should realize that you also have a family, and would enjoy Christmas with them, too.
Sure....but how is it any different from sitting in the car? He can't drive, but she would be doing the driving. The only thing that changes is that she's not driving, other than to and from the airport. But even so, he invited them all there and instead they are still pressuring him to go there so THEY don't have to make any effort. Who cares about the inconvenience to the "invalid" and family...I don't want to have to make an effort, so they should make double the effort because we are that much more important? I won't say what I thought about saying because it's a family thread and there may be children watching.

Thank you. James had plans for today, it was supposed to be O'Chemistry decorating day and for me the walking stomachs will be here all day.

I agree. The best snow is the one Disney makes. Fake and no cold to go along with it.See...I love how pretty the snow is...I just wish the cold didn't come with it. Sympathy like. We only got a dusting, thank goodness. It is flurrying right now, but I can deal with that. How much snow did you get, and how much is expected? On the 4th day of Snowmas we have a snow day![]()
